This is just a quick upload to explain the gear shift trim recall service action 34J7 that you may have received in the mail. This service action likely affects many different models in the VW lineup.
I don’t remember getting that letter for my ‘15 though I may have. I did get the issue where part of the “N” on the ignition switch button comes up and makes a sharp point; I just bent it back and forth until it came off. (Paul @ ShopDAP made a hilarious video on that 😅)
