The trip to Houston Astros Spring Training camp is always an action-packed one for the Wilson Baseball glove team. Superstar middle infield duo Carlos Correa (Custom A2000 1787 and Custom A2000 1785) and Jose Altuve (A2000 JA27 GM) picked up their new gamers, pitchers Collin McHugh (Custom A2000 XL) and Lance McCullers (A2K JF16) talk about the inspiration behind their gloves, and plenty more Houston players grab their leather. Hi Wilson im 15, 6'2 and 220 lbs. Which 1st base mitt should I get? I also have big hands so I need something that my hand will fit into

First of all you are very tall! And second, you should get a Rawlings instead of a Wilson for 1st. First base mitts usually get A LOT of use, therefore you want the best possible lace and if you want good lace you shouldn't look further than Rawlings

I second what Zigor said. Try out the Rawlings DCT model. It's considered one of the best 1st base model ever. Hey there -- all our 1B mitts are 12" so it depends on the type of leather you prefer. We have one in A2K, two in A2000 and one with A2000 and SS. The SuperSkin is great because with a big mitt like a 1B mitt, you can cut down on the weight while increasing the strength of the leather. Thanks for the feedback. Actually, each player in this Astros video did something different with their glove this year. That's what our fans love to see.

Thank you for considering my recommendation, but for example, like Collin McHugh, just changing the color on the Wilson logos isn't that much of a change, also if another player in a different video uses the same glove

That's a good point -- but Jose Altuve created an entirely new Game Model glove this year, and Carlos Correa is using a model glove that's new to the Wilson line. Lance McCullers created a custom to tribute his friend Jose Fernandez. Those all seem like pretty interesting glove stories to us.
