Alright, so I'll just say this...5 years ago if you were to ask me what happened that year on ROBLOX, I'd probably have been able to say every little event, leak, and incident down to every detail. These days I barely check up on the game, and I used to be insanely invested in every aspect of it. This video pretty much gave me the rundown, from the good stuff, to the bad stuff, and it's much appreciated for someone like me who hasn't been keeping an eye on it for a while haha. (kinda also makes me feel a little better about not playing the game in a while oof) Also uhhhh, didn't know about the "don't use our old logos" thing, and all of those other rules.....................oops. Great job!

I think the purpose for the default game thumbnails was for roblox to avoid verifying every single auto generated thumbnail. There’s millions of games on roblox and they have to verify all the thumbnails to make sure they are appropriate.

Roblox doesn't feel like Roblox anymore (for 2008 users). Back then, it felt more free willed. Now, it's littered with clickbaiters, ODers and now it feels more like a dictatorship (As proven with the logo, saying that you couldn't alter it at all, make it all caps or use the old logo.)

The forums being removed genuinely angered me, as I had primarily been on the forums since 2014 (OT and ATR to be specific). After the merge, I tried to make it feel like ATR, but it just felt like a cheap knockoff, and was so incredibly slow that i usually only posted once a day. I wish we had a warning to when they would shut down, so we could at least say goodbye. (And for context, I had about 14k posts). On another note, I was genuinely surprised you didn't even mention the media shitfit that caused the awful filter and safety changes.

7:22 it wasn’t a fair thing. Even though they added a advanced skin tones it still didn’t cut. People on mobile like a phone or iPad can’t get the advanced skin tones and forced to use the default and color the skin in 1 tone (not fair).

To be honest, most of 2017 was bad. I think that Roblox spends too much time on developing new features (such as the enhanced AI and the new Glass material,) rather that working on keeping Roblox safe for all ages.

The free robux scam ad in the beginning was very spicy.

I just don’t get why they’d make EvilArtist a toy when she hasn’t done anything that’s improved Roblox. She does art for people on twitter? I still love Roblox and I still play to this day but in my opinion 2016 felt like the last great year of Roblox, I've still had loads of fun with Roblox after 2016 and Roblox Studio has gotten a-lot of amazing features, but Roblox just feels different I don't know how to explain, it's not really a good or bad thing just different.

I'm suprised you didn't mention the Server Lists being removed (apparently ROBLOX added them back a little while ago)

I think that this was a pretty good year for Roblox. A lot of my friends started playing it, and the people at my school now say "Oof" instead of "ouch". A few years ago, Roblox would have been considered a Minecraft rip-off. Roblox is changing, but change is only bad when you look at it with a pessimistic point of view. Roblox really expanded its audience this year. They also added things like glass, new physics, 200 active games for all players and groups, VR support, 16777200 new brick colors, trail effects, a new avatar editor, portrait mode, R15, emojis, cross-platform support for XBOX, and much more! Spam is now a thing of the past. They recently tweaked the server lists, because bots would click on millions of people and send them spam. After almost a decade of players complaining about Guests, they finally were removed. Roblox also tweaked FilteringEnabled to get rid of exploiters. This year's updates were pretty good and I can't wait for 2018!
