@@chizo1205 Still salty about this. And no, he didn't go. He was basically told to leave. Martin wanted them to keep Ringmaster's name for the OG crew and have them use a different name for the new crew (as he was busy with job, wife n kid) with the new bass, but they didn't want any of it. Fucking F. Martin was the least replaceable of the bunch. Not that any of them was, but Martin? Nah. His basso profundo which still remained a warm sonorous tone at the lowest depths was pure joy to listen to.
Professional vocal ensembles often drift keys over time - in order to make a perfect “ringing chord” some of the notes turn slightly flat or sharp to make the ratios between the frequencies of the notes simpler (which leads to a tighter sound.) Sometimes the singers don’t hit the slightly detuned note right away and they have to move around a little to lock in, and sometimes they move to fit a person who’s out of tune and then from then on they’re all out of tune. This started in the original key but drifted down throughout the first half, haha :)
I thought the same thing lol. I always loved to sing the high A at the end as the tenor lead and noticed it was a completely different color when trying to sing along because it was an Ab
