Penn St. the last few years hasn't opened well. No doubt that App St. played to win. Did Penn St.? Were they looking forward to Pitt? I dont doubt that the offense will improve...its the defense that has big questions.
App state had speed PSU (or any team in the big 10 for that matter) rarely sees and just can not match. (See UM vs APP ST) Sometimes this can be overcome, sometimes not. APP st should not be overlooked. They often see SEC ACC teams that plays a style that is just on a higher level than the big 10.
@@dennissmathers898 Stop it. They coach well and play hard. The Big Ten is just as fast as any other conference and overall has WAY more team speed than App St.
@@NittanyNation22 YOu may have all the speed in the world pal if thats what you want to believe. Its how you USE it that is important. Big 10 teams play big white and SLOOOWWWW. Its in their DNA. Thats why they rarely schedule any SEC or ACC teams in their nonconference seasons. But they WILL schedule FSC schools or Central Michigans and other lower rated teams. And now even against the FCS teams it is not a gimme. Ill bet it will be snowing in Hell before PSU puts APP state on their regular schedule again. Or NDST or USD ANY top tier FCS school. I dont blame them. Just a different level of play in these divisions PSU or most other Big10 schools are not built to compete with.
