Some races can get boring. Good camera work and announcers do wonders, the leader was so far out ahead, and they still manage to keep the viewers' tension up.
Are u kidding me! Watching the First 2 cars it almost feels like they are pre-programmed to drive the track! Idk how these drivers are so good!! Such control! Respect💯🙌🔥
I got pretty good in my youth. I’m 38 and when I was about 15 there was a big race at our local track and I came in 3rd against all the factory guys, a couple actually hooked me up with some batteries and a motor, but yeah, back to your point, the speed is insane now!
@@FarrukhBulsara even electric? I can understand racing can be a challenge to compete with the pro’s, I think they may spend a little fortune during racing, tires, batteries, parts, traveling etc. I hope your still active in the RC world though as the youngsters of today need some inspiration.
After watching a bunch of these there seems to be some kind of bottleneck behind position 2. Even when no 2 makes mistakes and loses distance they're always able to come right back but never overtake. It appears quite similar with 3-4-5
Ive watched a few of these..indoor, outdoor, carpet, pavement & dirt....it seems if you are in first position at start of race you are pretty much a lock to win UNLESS you screw up. Its pretty much a race between 1st and 2nd everytime...ive watched about 10 so far and seen only one legit 2nd to 1st pass. The vehicles seem to be EXACTLY equally matched in power so there isnt any real mixing it up unless someone screws up. They dont pass with speed..they pass with someone screwing up.
Oh, you noticed that too. I remember those days back in the 80's...hey, what shock oil you using, which springs for this track, which tyres, etc...I do miss those days some times. The pit talk was the best. Team Reedy Associated.
1/10th 2wd buggy , there are also the 4wd version, or you can go up to 1/8th scale. Electric are nice , something like the Schumacher Cat L1. For pro versions like these , prepare to spend at least $300 just for the chassis.
Doesn't make much sense. The one who starts first has the best changes to win, the second second etc. Would be more exiting if they would start from the same lane not one after other.
@@edwin7788 The camera was on 1st place the entire time. There was probably plenty of overtaking in the other positions that we didn't see. Just like any race.
It's not that simple. This guy just happened to make a nearly perfect run. More often than not people crash into each other, or into barriers, or flip their car, or take a turn too wide, etc. It is actually pretty rare for the starting order to be the same as the finish order. What happens when they start from the same lane is you just get a massive tangled pile-up as soon as the race starts, and the marshals have to go un-tangle the pile and flip cars back over, and then the advantage goes to whoever the marshals get to first. So they start them staggered like this to prevent that. And they don't win based on who crosses the line first. They are racing against the clock. Whoever turns in the best overall time is the winner. So even if a person finishes the race third, they might be the winner just because their overall time was the fastest.
@@ShadeslayerGreats It is. A road is defined as "An open way for vehicles, persons, or animals." Basically any path that has been cleared to make travel easier, is a road.
It is just a way to make track maintenance affordable so that they can actually keep the track open and keep people racing. Dirt tracks are prohibitively expensive for most shops to operate. And the category is defined by the vehicles, not the track itself. The vehicles are offroad vehicles. Even if that was just an oval track in a parking lot, if all the cars are off road buggies, then it is classified as off road.
