Hi Laura. Very nice review. The more you do them, the better you are getting! I agree, the rear of the Accord is bland. Honda seems to do this with a lot of their vehicles. The front end is exciting and aggressive, but then, you go to the rear and it's a big disappointment. Almost as though they had separate designers for the front and rear. Come on Honda, you've got to bring it all around!!!

Love the Honda Accord and your review. You've done a great job but why Honda did not put the 60/40 spit rear seat on this base vehicle also. I currently own a 2014 Accord and it's a deal breaker for me. Like all the new feature, especially the steering wheel as you had mention but I have to to maybe go with the 2018 Camry SE now. Didn't' like grill of the base Camry either.

I like almost everything about the car except the tail lights I hope the high quality transfer to the civic base and CRV base...such as the standard led headlights and awesome knobs.

About a year later in 2019 my aunt Annie got a 2019 Honda accord LX and sometimes she lets me drive her vehicle with her when we go places together because she thinks I have a better sense of direction while driving. For being a base model it’s doubly not like my touring CRV Touring features but ride quality smoothness comfort is superior. The color my absolute favorite obsidian blue pearl!

If Honda gives you as a gift with that car, I'm definitely buying that car.

That's the exact model, LX Base w/ Champagne exterior color, and Grey interior (I like the 2-tone interior look w/ black accents) - I built online for myself. I prefer the LX 17 inch wheel design, vs the Sport. I'll be visiting the Honda display @ the 2018 auto show.

Does the base model comes with those led headlights, adaptive cruise control and Android auto ? Must have for me. Is that leather I'm noticing. Pretty impressive indeed if that's the case.So ready to trade.

Honda Laura Am from Nassau Bahamas how come I don't see know CD player in this Honda Accord...

I just Leased (with intentions to buy later) this exact car, new but in black. I love it but I wish I knew that there are no gps functions or visibility even if connected to a phone. Also it is not touch screen obviously, but that didn’t bother me as it did some people. Car so far has me at average 24.6 mpg on economic mode 100% of the time so far (with California traffic) at 400 miles total as of now. The car is beautiful and that trunk space is a heart throb. Back seats fold down for more trunk space. It’s vinyl in the inside. Black cloth and carpet. I do wish quality of visor was better. I am only picking it small subtle things. NO ONE will care so much but I wanted to mention this because I do wish my car salesman mentioned the gps thing. If you are a new car buyer like me, do research on what it means to own a black car because it is a slightly different car care routine!!! There are ups and downs. I’m worried for my first noticeable scratch. Thank you for this video!!!

Thanks for the review! A lot of reviewers go for the higher trims. Unfortunately, my wallet is allergic to them.

The LX withholds a few things that should be across the board, like being Sirius/XM-ready, auto-dimming rearview. These things are getting expensive even at this trim.

Seem like you get alot for the money. Plus you can hook up Apple or Android phones and use phone navigation if I'm not mistaken.

I'm gonna have to purchase a Honda from this dealership just so I can have her deliver and give me a run down of my Honda.

Lx is best because of 17 inch wheels. This is an economy car, shouldn’t need to spend a lot on tires.
