2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Ti - Redline: Review 

I remember seeing this car in person at a Starbucks and thought it was the most interesting car I've seen in a while. It has such a presence and looks really expensive for what it is. Also those gloves are everything. Really adds something to this video

I leased one last week for $2500 down and $350 a month including tax. 2 year lease, 10k Miles, From LOs Angels. Love the D drive. They really did not need a N button, just the A and D should be enough. Love the D drive so much horsepower. Let me know if you like to get a car. The only issues, the gears change too quickly, it jerks, not a lot of space to put cell phone. The rear camera should be upgraded. The Audio and speakers are fine and the column goes up to 38, some people might hate that but, Italians do it different. The interface is not difficult to operate. Seats are ok. People do look at you more often. I wish the rear seat had a leaning back feature. The back seat levers, from the back should be changed to fold town the rear seats all the way, you have to move the front seats front to manually push the seat down. Regular driving I get around 22mpg. Paid $51 for a premium fuel for close to 400 Miles. But I think it will be much less when you hit the gas. Love it from 0-60 5.4 seconds, looks amazing and competes with the Jaguar F-Pace and Porsche Macan. Feels like a sedan when you hit the gas. The steering wheel is extremely light, you have to get used to it. But with the 2 year lease it’s not a big deal.

I like how the push-button start is on the steering wheel.

My God that's a sexy SUV. I don't necessarily like all SUVs. But this is just HOT.

I'm a old fashioned grand prix fan and really love classic Alfas. I'm glad they came back, I want to own one so bad. But afraid it might be too much trouble to own.

Great car, very fun to drive. With a very good reliability, too. In Europe there are some vehicles with more than 100.000 km without problems.

Just found a used stelvio 2018 ti 30k miles with driver assistance package for 25000. Really considering it for my next car. I was considering a Macan but you get really good, if not better car for half the price.

We've owned the 2017 Giulia TI AWD Lusso with the paddle shifters for over a year, and now we're getting the 2018 Stelvio. We like the look, handling, and performance of the vehicle; and so far, the Giulia has been reliable. The quirks take getting used to, but the reward of really good handling and good acceleration with a decent ride make it worthwhile. It's a good value too. Love the Germans, but they charge a bit much for options that lots of others include for little to no added cost!

Hey Sofyan, love your reviews, very informative and detailed. I am curious though as to why you don't mention safety ratings in your reviews? The Stelvio for instance is rated higher than a XC90 on EuroNcap and is higher than many new Crossovers on IIHS, which I found suprising lol.

LEDs give you no benefits over HIDs unless we're talking about adaptive/Matrix ones which are illegal in the US. Well designed HIDs (and the curve adaptive ones in the Alfa are very well made) are still excellent with greater range than LEDs.

Y'all underestimating Alfa's so much but that Stelvio looks great.

The limit on the revs range is due to the typical ECU mapping for modern Turbos which pick up very early in the revs band for early torque / power. It has nothing to do with reliability. A typical setting amongst manufacturers (from the rest of the world) to improve fuel consumption and reduce emissions.

I don't think it's very accurate to call this a base engine. It only has 1 engine. The Quadrifoglio model is like $40,000+ more. Can you really compare the two? They are completely different classes

Its an italian Jeep cherokee.. I love it, yea they can put a 8.4 touch screen just like in the jeep or maserati stablemates but i have no complains thats a nice crossover 👍🏾👏🏾🔥🔥🔥❤️

Only SUV I would actually buy and drive

traction control can't be disabled. It's a automatic AWD system. The Quadrifoglio version is a beast, and it carries a better infotainment. Anyway those who want a good infotainment or comfort shouldn't be looking at this car. This is the most sporty driving SUV there is.

Alfa looks pretty nice, wonder how they will hold up over time.

Really like the Stelvio but can't afford it? Me too. And my answer was to buy a 2019 MAZDA CX 5 Grand Touring Reserve in that beautiful "Soul Red Crystal". ($34,050.) ->Both the Reserve and top of the line Signature come very "loaded". Check out the two and you'll find a 2.5 L. turbo four AWD with such niceties as holographic heads up dash info, steerable headlights, heated and cooled seats, 10 speak Bose stereo, etc., etc. ->Plus the CX5 turbos "get to 60" in 6.4 seconds so not a dog at all. And with 50/50/ 100 octane racing gas and 91 octane premium gas it will do even better. -> Yeah the Stelvio styling is great but so is the 2019 CX 5's styling and "Stelvio similar" in many areas. And the CX 5 GT Reserve and Signature DO give you traction control you can turn off. Plus Apple Car Play and Android Auto, etc., etc.

Food for thought: Getting 280 hp & 306 lbs of torque from a 2.0 ltr engine means this is one high strung puppy. I wonder how durable and trouble free such an engine can be? In comparison, the Mazda CX-5 Signature is 2.5 ltr and only puts out 250 hp. Obviously, Mazda could have gotten another 50 to 75 hp from that engine, but chose to let the engine loaf which should allow for less trouble in the future. That being said I still would not mind owning the Stelvio

I test drove it. PRO: fun, huge discounts, zippy after 1st gear, fast zf transmission. Great handling. Comfortable ride. Nice interior. CON: turbo lag, paddles were too big and got in the way of using the turn signal stick, rear view mirror had a frame and looked old, the rear looks like a $25k Mazda CX-5, is Alfa Romeo going to be able to stay in business?

Nice CAR. This is much more a car than a true SUV. OK, it is higher than its stablemate Julia but is it really worth the money? I would still take my 2019 MAZDA XC 5 GT Reserve over the Stelvia for not just price reasons but for reliability and "bang for the buck". True my CX 5 GT Reserve 2.5 L. turbo only gets to 60 in 6.4 seconds but I'll take that given my CX 5 has MORE safety and comfort amenities than the Stelvio. With a 4,000 lb. weight and only a 3 L. turbo engine and still getting such fast 0 - 60 times ya gotta know the engine is highly stressed. So... will you get an easy 250,000 miles from this engine turbo?

2023 - these cars are fairly affordable nowadays for a used 2017-2018 with fairly low miles $23k for 44k miles in it. Anyone got any feedback on its reliability?

Countries like America and Australia need at least a spare tire. If you get a side wall puncture then those puncture repair kits are useless. If your out in the expanse of the country then you get stuck with a massive towing bill. Would never buy a car without a spare.

Hide the badges and Alfa signature grille and I would have thought this was a Mazda
