Alba Esteban ... the sweetest, loveliest, accomplished baritone sax player out there! Watched her grow up on these Chamorro videos. Just love her unique voice and vocal style. There is something quite endearing and special about her.

What a band with my favourite saxophonist. Seems odd sometimes to hear one so young singing such adult lyrics. However, to sing so well in my language is great. Joan..what a great job you continue to do. Thanks from UK.

Terrific Alba! Loved her singing “l like to hear it sometimes” with 3 of the other girls. They were having a great time. The version from 3 years ago is best quality. (561 K views)

I think she was more relaxed in that one singing with Rita ,Alba A and Abril. You could tell that she was having a ball.

For some reason I thought that I would never see Alba sing again (she seemed like the type who would rather "hide" behind her instrument), but you proved me wrong, Joan. Muchas gracias! And by the way: I play the CD, I bought in your webshop "Joan Chamorro presenta Alba Armengou, almost every day, and keep playing it in my car! It is really great! Alba Armengou is the greatest!

What a luxury Scott Hamilton who played with Benny Goodman and now enjoying Barcelona's ST Andreus jazz band ;Joan such a class guy and the kids are Number One Band to me ; by bringing me back to those good old years of music and social life in USA ! ....Que lujo tener a Scott Hamilton ejecutando el; saxo con ustedes en St Andreu Jazz Band , allí en Barcelona ,conociendo desde que estaba con Benny Goodman .Y es admirable ver desde la otra mitad del planeta a través de YOU TUBE estos jóvenes con tanta dedicación y disciplina dirigidos por Joan Chamorro ; y lógico nos preguntamos " CUANDO NOS VIENE A VISITAR Y PRESENTARSE EN UN SHOW DONDE PODAMOS DISFRUTARLOS " , un saludo muy cordial desde Surfside Beach, Carolina del Sur , USA, Congrats to all !

We used to pay attention to her as a musician and a modest girl in this big band, thanks for her voice ...). And of course, special thanks to the conductor Mr. JOAN CHAMORRO! And of course, the best tenor saxophonist of our time, Mr. SCOTT HAMILTON! Thanks to all the musicians! As Long As I Live ... a good jazz standard ...

Wow Wow Wow!!! Who is the new female vocalist??? Looks like our Alba E. (her Twin maybe?) And who is the handsome guy with the beard on trumpeta? Joan Mar's older brother???? he's a real pro. And there's the well dressed older guy in the suit with the sax. Glad you kept him around...he Great! Is there a mic close to the Contrabajo on this one?? I seem to hear it more and like it. Band sounds totally Awesome!!! As good as the bands of the 1940's. Alba really great vocal, really - Joan Mar great solo, really great. thanks SAJB and Mr Director.
