oh yeah downpipes are a nightmare on this car. luckily i bought the car with the aftermarket downpipes installed by the previous owner.

@@usmanscars244 Lucky!! Here in Norway where i live we have to get our cars inspected every 2 years, so the car has to be completely "legal" during the inspection. This means that i would have to put on the stock downpipe every 2 years :( It's too much work for me, so i'll just keep my car almost stock, but maybe put on another exhaust or some smaller easier mods😂

@@ProLexHD you know you can fit catted midpipes and you’ll pass inspection ? I’m from Ireland and our cars also get inspected

Scorpion do a downpipe which you can easily swap a legal sports cat for the straight through pipe. I'm going to get one for this reason!@@ProLexHD

i’ve actually never driven an A3 but i know it’s almost the same chassis. I think ur assumption of it just being less sporty is correct. It’ll definitely feel a lot more comfortable on the road. perfect as a daily driver

I had an S3 before my RS3, which the s3 is pretty much the same as the a3 but the rs3 feels like a completely different car, the a3/s3 has a 2.0L 4 cyl with a dq250 trans, the rs3 has a 2.5L 5 cyl and a dq500 along with different suspension. Its night and day difference in terms of driveability.

i have an a3 quattro and a rs3, and the difference between the 2 cars is crazy. everything about the car mechanically just feels way different.

no idea tbh, it’s mainly a design thing from what i’ve seen. it just seems so extra to me that you have to remove the driveshaft just to access the downpipe lol

drive shaft has to be removed and is super easy to damage on accident if you mishandle it. most of what makes it a pain in the ass to do.

i actually never tried timing a 1/4 but i’m guessing with these mods it would be high 10s. That’s what i’ve seen on the forums

@@paulhenry9300 i actually sold the car about 4 months ago lol. I ended up buying the shelby gt350 which i also have a POV of on my channel. That car is currently also for sale because I just bought a 997 911 turbo. Be on the lookout for a POV video of that soon lol!!!

i bought it in cash so i was able to negotiate a lot. I think prices are all over the place for these. i saw a few 2017 clean title ones for around 45-47k but those deals get picked up fast lol

has a full APR exhaust and high flow cats. almost straight piped

stage 2 93 makes around 490 whp, stage 2 on e85 can make up to 530 whp

this had the AWE switchpath which retains the stock actuators. makes the cabin a bit less droney for daily driving

@@will_pretotbh it still does have a decent amount of drone between 2.5k to 4k rpm. i came from a. honda s2000 so my drone tolerance is pretty high lol
