2018 Audi RS4 - The Perfect One Car Garage - Incl. EPIC Launch Control (Collaboration Review) 

Been running one now in 2022. Best car I’ve had, and I’ve had the works! Day to day nothing better. And as a family man with a dog and a mountain bike it really is epic.

That's the best review of the RS 4 I've seen to date!! I was in the market for an S4 but I'm now saving the extra money to get the RS !! We'll done on all your vlogs !! And if Audi UK are reading theses reviews then give ped more cars as he's now established himself as the best out there !!!!!

Just Bought a 2019 one and love it already.. I’m lucky enough to have an R8 also and although it’s not the driving experience of an R8 (the noise mainly) it’s a good 80% and as the commentator said, it is a car you would take out just to drive it... My only negative is that the 2019 has the GPF and that Reduces the noise which I think lessers the experience (maybe time for sports cats and a remap!)

That was such a well made video, I loved the conclusion and completely agree with you. I bought the B9 S4 at the start of the year and had to sell it for the exact reasons you spoke of, I never wanted to take it out for a sunday drive...

Hi Pete. I ordered one with all the options ticked in January, waiting until May... and ordered with Alcántara xDD Perfect and nice review, people is talking bullshits about V6 and exhaust sound. But the truth is RS4=V6TT since the origin, and about the exhaust you can change after buying (for the time being Manhart or Remus pe). And Manhart sounds like hell, loud and pops everyday. This car is the best RS4 ever, said by Audi and many others testers and experts. Are you agree?

I recognise those roads! The hill climb is one of my favourite bits of road. I would also recommend doing the whole of the A272 from Petersfield to Petworth, some great twists down there. Anyway, nice video. Probably my favourite of all the RS4 reviews i've watched. Really enjoyed the drone shots too.

Nice review, Pete! One thing I would say is that you were doing your 0-60 time without launch control so your time was definitely slower than it could have been. You can tell because in launch mode the revs go up to about 3200 rpm and you build more boost before you take off, so it leaves the line much faster, with a little bit of wheelspin from all 4 wheels. You could definitely knock a few tenths off that time. The software in the car will only do launch mode if you are in Dynamic mode (not individual) and also only if you have the traction control in sport mode (not if you turn it completely off). You also need to give it 3 or 4 seconds of full throttle to build boost before you take your foot off the brake (this feels a bit harsh when you do it but the manual says give it 2 to 5 seconds). You can see after 2 seconds of full throttle the revs jump up from 2800rpm to 3200rpm and you can see the boost building if you have the boost gauge turned on in the display. It gets to about 3/4 of full boost before you even start off!

Option list is best done like this, I bought a fully loaded s5 that was 5 months old and owned by an Audi director but was offered at a considerable reduction in price. I looked for over 6 months though and nearly every night on the web. Do your homework it's worth it.

What a brilliant and detailed review! Petrol Ped going to new levels! A fantastic car with so many brilliant details! I’ve never seen red trimmed seatbelts before! I used to have all Red and found them tacky plus they showed the dirt a lot more. Need Manufacturers to give you more long term loans! I want a 30 minute weekly show to take over the gap left by 5th gear etc 👍🏻
