Changing the rear brake pads on my 2018 BMW X3 (G01 2017-). Its the 2.0ltr Turbo diesel in M Sport trim.
I used a Foxwell NT530 scan tool to retract the electric parking brake, but apparently it is possible to unbolt the electric actuators from each calliper and manually wind them back.

13mm and 17mm spanner
Optional: Torque wrench and 13mm socket
