Most informative DIY install on the platform. Hard to find good knowledgebase anywhere. Do you know the lengths of your new TSP pushrods? Did you go with TSP lifters? Good looks.
@MattsMoparMadness
@MattsMoparMadness 14 дней назад
@@xander-0001 Thanks! im not sure in the length of the pushrods. They just came with my kit from tsp. Might be able to find the box if it has the length on it. I put OE hellcat lifters in and a hellcat oil pump.

What tools are needed to do this job alone? I have no mechanical experience but want to learn
@MattsMoparMadness
@MattsMoparMadness 27 дней назад
@@Trent_111 Pretty much basic hand tools and a few good torque wrenches. Also a pulley holding tool to hold the crank pulley to be able to torque it. Most of which you could likely rent from a parts store.

@@MattsMoparMadness serious question,speaking about price do youu think in the end supercharged rt with a cam would be worth the money vs just buying a hellcat? this might sound offensive
@MattsMoparMadness
@MattsMoparMadness 17 дней назад
@@kevinleal5778 In my case since I’m a mechanic and I can do all the work myself I will definitely be able “build” a hellcat cheaper than buying one. I’m into it for 5k so far and pretty much at scat pack power. When I bought this car the scat was 10k more. So in my eyes it’s definitely achievable. I don’t feel I need all the fancy adjustable suspension and what not that comes on the SRT’s. Not to mention I love the modification process and the progression of a build. Some would say built not bought.

@MattsMoparMadness
@MattsMoparMadness 20 дней назад
@@mio3379 After seeing one of the cam lobes coming apart on my factory cam that came out I was definitely surprised. These things definitely seems to have a lack of oil issue to the cam and lifters. My brothers truck on the other hand had 220,000km on it with no abnormal wear on the cam or lifters when we swapped out his cam. Definitely try stay away from idling too much. If you do end up doing a cam I highly recommend doing a hellcat oil pump.
