I just got a 2018 Department 56 Catalog so let's have a look at what's in store for Halloween next year! 2018 looks to be very spooktacular!

Sooooo exciting!!! My initial list is too long and will have to be trimmed down but that Asylum will be mine!!This may be the year I need to get a bigger table and display. I love the Jack Skeleton pumpkin on the Black Cat Flat. The details of department 56 just can't be beat imo. Thanks for sharing!!!

Black Cat Flat is my favorite building in the line and I'm pumped to get it. I think after that it would actually be the Harvest Gazebo. I think that new Harvest line will do great for them. Regardless, it's going to be a fun 2018! Thanks for watching

I love it all but that Black Cat Flat has got to be mine! I think I am officially back to collecting. LOL Thanks Doug :/ LOL I also really like that Happy Harvest Gazebo. My mom has done a Thanksgiving village in the past, and I love the idea of just having pieces that can be seasonal without focusing on a specific holiday. Sidenote: I just remembered that I have the Black Cat Diner from eons ago.... oooo that will go perfect with Black Cat Flat! :D

Heya Mel thanks for stopping by. Black Cat Flat looks to be the big winner here as so many people are excited about it. A close second though is actually the Harvest Gazebo. I will be stocking several extra of these for the coming season and if you want one I can give you a good price :). In particular the Gazebo makes for a good time to come back as the Harvest line is brand new and that is building #1, sure to be a collector's item within a few years! I love the Happy Harvest set.........I love fall and only have one dept. 56 Halloween house, but now that I've seen what's coming I have my wish list made.

I think the Happy Harvest line is going to be a huge hit. Going from the posts I've made on social media and in talking to people on the various village facebook group pages, everyone seems to be planning on picking that up. I would guess it's gonna be a quick sell out, so if you want it make sure and jump on it when these things hit in early Summer!

I also mention to the lead designer that's in charge of the creating the Trick or Treat Lane series.. His name is Scott.. I told him, he should design and make a Michael Myers house for the trick-or-treat Lane collection.. Now that would be freaking awesome

I believe Scott does the entire Halloween series. I would also love to see some kind of Halloween movie inspired house. Trick or Treat Lane is definitely my favorite in the line! Haunted Rails is a close second, even though I don't actively collect those....yet

I love the look of the harvest Gazeebo(probably spelled that wrong) set. I think I will be picking that one up. I can't wait to see the silhouettes dancing and how that looks. Plus original Bobby Pickett Monster Mash song, YES!!!!!!!!!!!! And the Black Cat Flat, so wanting that too. Man, I need to add room to my village.

Yes there will be Haunted Rails but those are always mid year items that are announced in Spring typically.

It's actually one of my favorite as well, although I do not have the engine yet I have several cars. I would like to get the whole set eventually but it's so daunting cost wise that I've put it off!

I have not seen what pricing is yet this year and that will affect things for sure. If you are looking for specific pieces though let me know as for the most part I will just be ordering what people have ordered so I don't have a bunch of inventory.

Rhett, yes I have already placed my order. I will be reviewing all of the Halloween houses. They are due to arrive in early June. I will also be doing the full line up of Lemax houses as well. Those arrive in mid to late July. Until then my video releases will be fairly spare, but once we hit June I'll be releasing stuff constantly through the holidays!

I am yes. I'm a small dealer though so I really only order what people want to pre-order. I mainly do it to help fund this channel. At best I break even!
