Thank you! I’ve been having nothing but problems with this since we got it, would work intermittently, finally stopped working at all just as we got on the road for a road trip. Found this and it worked! Life saver!
Thank you so very much for all of your help!!! I hope everyone sees this video you just saved me so much time and hassle!! Quick and easiest fix I've ever done working on a vehicle myself. None of those tricks in the beginning worked out. But the volume/tune button reset did help me after the fuse trick since my Journey is new to me and my phone has never been connected. Couldn't have fixed it without your help!!
OMG you saved me so much money I had issues with the radio not turning off when the car wasn’t running and no sound was coming out of the radio pulling that fuse along with the radio fuse for 10 second completely fixed the problem. Thank you so much.
I'm so glad I found this I did this for my 2012 dodge journey. Even after I just made a appointment at dodge to get it looked at. Now I won't have to waste loads of money thanks to you!
😮 it actually worked thank you so much. My Bluetooth menu would not even open as if it was glitched if anyone else has that happen this works! And it's easy use a flat head screwdriver to pop the fuse box lid if your nails won't work for ya!
Thanks man! Note this also worked on Chrysler 300, and other unconnect vehicles ( sometimes the fuse is a 15 amp blue one called “Ignition Switch/ Wireless Module”)
Thank you so much I just got done doing that and I had a problem with connecting last night came out looked at the video and I did exactly what you did. I had a couple different 10 but I tried all the 10 and cut the car off and try it and my Bluetooth connected with no problem. Thank you so much.
Thanks dude. I knew there was a fuse for this thing but had no idea where it was. Worked like a charm. Interesting to see if the HFM fails you wont be able to access phone or bluetooth menus. Still pulling the fuse was the easiest solution because the battery is in the dang wheel well. WHO DOES THIS.
Bluetooth module under dash is the culprit. It can cause your battery to drain over night if you have a weak or dead battery. The module stays in while the car is in sleep mode. Should have been recalled.
Thank you very much I went 3 years without connecting my phone And I followed your instructions and it worked Thanks again definitely giving you a thumbs up buddy
I usually just shut the car off. Open the door and shut the door. Make sure my foot is off the brake, and just sit there for about 30 seconds. Then my Bluetooth connects. But if it didn't I do what you do.
DUDE! I tried all the other things as well, nothing worked. I pulled the fuse, put it back in and PRESTO! Connected. 2014 Dodge Journey. How did yo figure that out? Brilliant!😄
Omg the dealership makes me feel like I’m stupid when I keep telling them The Bluetooth does not connect and I purchased the truck brand new. I shouldn’t have these issue and it is so nice that someone else has the same issues.
Ey it might convert back to doing the same thing. When you start the car just give it a second and drive a bit then hit the Bluetooth button. If that doesn’t work delete the Uconnect off ur phone and delete ur device off the car and reconnect it before driving
Life saver thank you 😊 Update didn't work 😭 it won't even give me a pop up screen or nothing when I press on the Bluetooth or the phone soft press buttons on the screen I'm so bummed 😞
Only thing that has worked for my 2015 dodge journey. Turns out mine was missing the fuse all together. Why can't they clearly label their fuses? Now time to try to guess why none of my windows work. Just bought this car.
Anyone have it where it's connected then disconnects randomly and can't connect again until you shut off the vehicle? Sometimes it won't connent at all.
What's weird is this works but I'm having this issue come up again today and I'm thinking maybe it's a bad fuse piece and it might need to be replaced because in my vehicle it seems to have been looked at before so I wonder if it needs replacement.
I used this method on my 2016 journey sxt, but, like other comments, the bluetooth would not work and has even disappeared from the options list. Currently, the backup camera doesn't work (picture is either upside down, flickers, or even works), bluetooth/handsfree does not work, and the blend door actuator has an issue (AC only on driver side, no AC on passenger side). Based on all my research, it may come down to replacing the radio entirely or even the fuse box. Anyone else with similar issues?
I know one thing the shit's getting annoying I can tell you that because I was in my car this evening had my RU-vid playing through the bluetooth got out of the car for all of 5 minutes got back in it would not connect I go to the screen to set up bluetooth and click bluetooth in the menu and it won't even display that screen I hit the phone button and it won't even go into that screen mode it says please wait it won't even allow you to set up pairing
Seems like Dodge has many issues cause my car has had a crap load of issues and no one knows what it is. I've even contacted the main corporate, and they're just as bad.
Omg thank you! It’s ridiculous I’ve been sitting for like ten fifteen minutes trying to get my phone connected every time 🫣😒 stupid dodges. This worked!
