2018 f 150 with the 5.0 does have port and direct injection. Don't know why he said it doesn't.

I bought a 2015 v6 brand new. 2.5 years later the so called heavy duty "leather" steering wheel is worn to bits and I only use it for recreational purposes. not to mention the doors have a tough time closing and staying closed. also since day 1 the moon roof keeps screeching whenever I open or close it. not sure if that changed in the newer models but do keep that in mind when buying. also plow dealers say the v6 will electronics will screw up your truck if you put a plow on it

I just bought my first F-150 2 weeks ago its winter in Canada, the Auto start/stop is not engaging I went and ask the service department about this and they said in the cold it more then likely won't kick in as it does not want to draw power away from the alternator or battery that will be needed. was told it will be the same in the heat/ hot days of the summer. the service tech said the only time it will really work properly her in Ontario will be spring and fall...lol

Can anyone touch on the reliability of the 3.3 vs the 2.7. maybe it is still too new to tell?

It's still a nice truck, I'm a Ford person and recently bought one. But the RAM interior is in a class of it's own. The GM is recently re-designed . Gotta think Ford is going to need to tweak their interiors in the next year or two.

I like the ARE brand camper shell over the truck bed. Do you install those ?

lol! ford markets the port fuel injection with direct injection as improving power output, when the real reason they added the port fuel injection is to clean the valves that the direct injection could not do there by improving the reliability of the engine. its well known direct injection system cokes up the valves.

Long but very informative video. I just got a new 2018 4x4, extra cab,(super cab), with an 8' bed. My local dealership informed me that Ford did not make this truck with an 8' bed. As luck would have it, I got an ad from another dealership on F.B. showing this very truck with the long bed. Long story short, another dealer that was much closer had this configuration and although it doesn't have all the features I would've liked, it is pretty well equipped. In trying to take in all the information concerning different packages I am wondering if my truck was a special order. It does have the 301A equipment group with the chrome package, which I'm not a fan of the chrome...but am I to understand it's supposed to have the center console and shifter? That would be something I truly wish it did have! However I think I have a few things that may not come on a standard XLT like the power pedals, max tow package, electronic lock axles. One thing It has that I absolutely can't stand are the built in spot mirrors in the mirrors! I'd much rather have the "blind spot" mirrors, or if worse came to worse, the actual "tow mirrors"! If you could let me know regarding the center console that would be great! Thanks big time, Razor!

I've always wondered, why does the Ford symbol on the front always fade? You see it everyday. I don't think I've seen another brand do this. I don't why they would purposely design it that way but do they?

To put the transfer case in neutral you have to go from 2 hi to 4low 5 times within 7 seconds. Parking brake must be set. You also can go into test mode by holding the Ok button with the key in on position and then starting it while still holding it.

The 2018 tall gate it looks a little nice.

what about a 2018 f150 xlt 3.3 v6 300a package? what does the 300a package include?

I personally like the 18 grill more than the 17 grill.

Those supposed off-road tires are P rated not the more favorable LT rated tires. Probably P for gas mileage rating

I like everything about the sport package EXCEPT THE FLOOR SHIFTER IN CONSOLE. It's not a Mustang !!!! Trucks should have steering column gear select

The 301A package is trash and should be standard.
