Just pulled the trigger on the exact same red XLT with the special edition sports package. I pick it up in 2 days and have never been this excited to own a truck and I'm coming from a 2012 FX4.

Trading my 2014 Super Crew 4x4 XLT 3.5 (love the truck, 75K on it) in on a 2019 Super Crew 4x4 3.5 Eco, 302A pkg with class 4 tow, chrome and power groups, Nav and Off Road Pkg. Watched the video intently (great job!) I sold Fords for 10 years in the 1990's when a new car delivery was a 10 minute process even on Explorers, and you covered all the bases! My truck comes in tomorrow on a dealer trade and I texted the sales manager that I watched your great video and the sales lady will have an easy 3 C delivery on it! See the car, see the key, see ya later! Praise the Lord and buy a Ford!

Bought the xlt 301a almost a year ago and love it. I've been driving a silverado LT as a rental for the last 2 weeks, and I think the F150 is hands down better from performance to comforts. The only 2 things the chevy did better was the trim around the doors and dash is nicer and the heftiness of the truck is nicer (makes it more "trucky" as my daughter says).

@101327 That's idiotic. The dealership only has the car in order to sell it. They do not 'own' it in any traditional sense. The ultimate buyer is the first 'owner' of a new vehicle.

Very informative video. On a side note the dealer badge above or below the F150 badge is absolutely HORRIBLE. Can't believe your dealership does that or that customers actually accept that at delivery.

Very nice overview! I'm considering a 2020 XLT with the 302A and FX4 packages. I was looking at the Tacoma TRD Off-Road, but after adding all the options I wanted the price was $45k! I don't even want a full size truck, but there is no way I'm paying $45k for a Tacoma, no matter how solid it is, especially considering that the F-150 get the same fuel economy as the Tacoma when equipped with the 2.7 Ecoboost engine. Also, I wish Ford would stop with the chrome, I hate it! Most car companies realized long ago that chrome isn't considered a "luxury" upgrade anymore and most people don't like it, but the American brands still think it's popular for some reason. Most buyers want either body colored, blacked out, or dark chrome trim. Ford, enough with the chrome!

@@herbyoung2767 "Sales data" is irrelevant because it's based on what is available on dealer lots. If people could get their truck the way THEY want it, instead of the way the dealer or Ford spec-ed it, there would be a lot less chrome on the road, I'd bet money on that. Also, just read thru the comments on these videos and you'll see that a ton of people always complain about chrome because it looks dumb and old fashioned. Of course that's just my opinion, but it certainly seems to be shared by a majority of people.

My 17 is a Texas Edition so it has both 301A and 302A packages and it has the sport appearance package as well. If it was a 14th gen it would have a whole lot more bells and whistles.

I like your videos they're very informative. I live in Florida and I use them to figure out whether I'm going to buy an F-150 or not. The big problem I have with the F-150 is it does not come with a crew cab 8 foot bed. So I have to figure out if I am going to wait for the Tesla pickup, or get an F-150. Don't wast your money. Engine and trans problems. Ford says its all normal. Got mine with 20 thousand miles it has 25 thousand now and its trade in time. 5.0 is garbage.

I have a 2019 xlt sport 4x4. 302a equipment package.I have the factory spray in liner but no led box lighting what is the reason for that? Or is it just a cover over the lighting that was sprayed over?

LED Box Lighting is not standard but they will have the hole with the cover to make it easier at the factory when they have a truck that ordered the feature.

I usually don't do the commercial trucks just because there are so many specs involved and most commercial trucks are purchased fleet through a fleet manager at the dealerships. Are there any specific questions you have on those that I can answer or refer to my fleet manager to answer?

Stupid question: If there is a XLT F150 302A on the Ford Dealer lot, but does not have BLIS can this be added to this package? My sales guy did not know. I wish you were my dealer.

BLIS is a stand alone option as long as you have the 302A. It requires the upgraded mirrors that come on the 302A only so they can not be added to the 300A or 301A.

Why is the transmission lever on that side? In your next video of lariat, it's like at the normal position. Can we choose its position?

The standard shifter is on the column, you can get a console shifter on the sport and special edition packages.

I will be doing a video on the Lariat trim in the near future. The difference in the XLT and Lariat Sport Packages is very minimal. The Lariat Grille will be body color bars versus Magnetic on the XLT and you will have Leather Bucket Seats with Floor Console and Shifter versus Cloth Seats on the XLT. The Step Bars will look a little different, I believe they are wider.

Every dealer puts them on their vehicles, no damage is done to the vehicle body or paint and can be removed very easily by the clean up crew on delivery if requested.

In all seriousness, you could get an XLT with bigger rims, a console shifter, sport cloth, AWD, and a V8; and save thousands. Only real reason to get the Lariat is if you insist on leather seats. By the way, Lariat comes standard with a ton of features you'll never need, including keyless ignition.

You showed a radio with HD Radio indicator, which is NOT available in any XLT package! You have to be in a Lariat or above with a B&O radio.

I think you may have seen a clip that I used from Ford.com, that is the image they used for the navigation. I'm sure they use that same clip on each trim that has navigation as an option.
