Nice looking on the outside, and I agree b not too impressive on the inside. Glitzy doesn’t move freight I guess is the way they look at it. It would be nice to have some bells and whistles .
I dont know if these are coming out as standard. Last year they sold them to drivers. But I think the freightliner an the kw have them. I haven't looked at either vid in a while
They have National seating seats on these? I knew it. They got the National Seatings on the 17 Cascadias and the standard Isri seat on the 2016 and older Cascadias.
Just think of all those future wasted time in hotels, and not making money because the truck keeps ending up in the shop.....but hey is nice looking truck
Back in the day, these big fleets had O/O packages on their trucks, Werner had Classic XL Freightliners, and COEs, Long nose Kw's and Petes... Chromed out, twin stacks, Big Engines... Pride Transport, had the nicest trucks out on the road... What changed all that, is the steering wheel holders of today, entitlement syndrome, and drivers tearing up the trucks, wrecks on so on... and of course the Insurance industry... I worked for Westside Transport, back in the 90's, and for a few years, they would buy a Owner/Operator Spec Freightliner Classic, and display it, and the Driver of the Year, would get it, and drive it, as long as they worked for the Company... That lasted a few years, cause most of the drivers had accidents, or quit... So they quit doing it... So the fleets that Lease, 100s of trucks every year, went to fleet spec, (cheap, plastic, all you need to know) trucks, and I don't blame them for doing it...
+Chris Griffin yes sir you now the drill. You remembered the day we we gods of the road. Then the masses took control through the lease purchase plan. God help us
It would have been nice if you turn the lighting inside on, then we could have actually seen the sleeper. Pitch Black, not sure what the point of that was.. but thanks for the effort 👍
Trucking Review Channel one time you drive one you will die with them they are very comfortable the seats better than freightliner basically you don’t feel the road
If Prostar is garbage, then why are there so many still on the road today making drivers money? All vehicle brands have their issues and bad years. Run what fits you and let the next person run what fits them and be happy.
