The 2018 Harley-Davidson Softail range represents a big departure from the traditional for the iconic American bike maker. And the two bikes we have here, the Fat Bob and Heritage Classic represent the opposite ends of the Softail spectrum - one, a modern muscle bike, the other, a classic cruiser.
These two are built around a brand new chassis that endows them with great handling, and a brand new motor - the Milwaukee Eight 107 - 1745cc V-Twin running 4-valves per cylinder. Behind their more traditional lines, both bikes are thoroughly modern, lighter, more agile and with big gains in refinement and finesse - proper modern-day Harleys!

Hi Everyone... Apologies about the first part where I've said "90-degree V-Twin". It's actually "45-degree V-Twin". I messed up in the script and didn't notice until the video had already gone online. Will strive for not making such stupid mistakes again. Cheers... and thanks for watching.

The ducati x diavel s nearly also is at 20lakh price range, will you prefer that over the heritage? How well do you think diavel fits the bill here..? Would like to know your thoughts on it.

I wish you would have showed how the Heritage can be 2 bikes in one. It can be a light weight tourer and a nice cruiser when stripped down.

I think you'll be alright. Check out this vid ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FOdmC04Fo14.html at the 1:00 mark. If you go to a dealer and sit on the bike, and are still not quite comfortable --- they can lower the chassis about an inch or two. I see you wrote your question about 10months ago, and you may already have your answer. Safe riding.

It’s more like a bike show rather than a review...too superficial. No practical use pointers, short but deep observations abt how the bike behaves in specific situations. Video grabs capturing some of those points so that v can interpret in our way too. These things come by spending some actual miles on the saddle. Bike journalism in India is becoming more of a soap opera type..not hardcore enough. Sorry if it sounds rude, but we deserve more.
