This is a quick review over the features and functions of a 2018 Honda Accord EXL. If you have already purchased one, or are considering it this will give you a quick refresher of the functions of the vehicle.
Thanks for the super quick informative run thru brother this is exactly what I needed. Can’t wait to try the remote start I can’t even believe it comes with it…. Hopefully all ‘18 models are equipped with it.
I purchased a new 2018 Honda Accord Sedan, and within a year, the front passenger seat had to be replaced - no padding. A month later I was still waiting on the part, yet I was not offered a rental car even though the vehicle was still under manufacturer warranty. Lewisville Honda is not a place I recommend going.
TheGman2421 so in lx u have cloth seats, ex and sport of leather bolstering with cloth seats and exl and touring have leather seats? Also does the exl have cooled seats?
Is $30k (purchase price of car/ taxes and registration excluded) for an EX-L model with/ parking sensors & rear seat USB chargers a good deal for a USAA truecar buyer?
Mario, base off what we charge for accessories (ever dealer is different) that is a great deal. I think you can purchase at that price and feel comfortable you are getting a great price and the dealer is making a couple of bucks. Everyone should come out a winner.
justin fuller well that makes my decision easier. I’ve been looking at Camry, but I can deal with connectivity issues and I want an upgraded entertainment system. Accord has a better system and better everything else. Thanks!
Nice review. Question, I have 2013 EX-L V6 and on my LCD the compass direction is part of the display next to the time. We just bought a 2018 EX-L for my Wife, does the compass show direction in a similar fashion on the LCD or somewhere else? I know I can press the compass button and it will take the whole LCD screen. I'm asking if it shows somewhere else without taking up the entire screen. We do not have the Touring model with HUD. THANKS
justin fuller just for clarity, which model did your video illustrate? Because it showed the compass button on the second screen on the LCD, just like ours the EX-L, but when you press it the compass takes up the entire screen and not a small space somewhere else, which is what I would be looking for. BTW, thanks for the quick reply
J L I went back and watched the video. This is an EXL model and it does offer a compass. When you look on Honda.com it states only the EXL with Nav and Touring offer the compass. That is where I went to check on this. So, the EXL without Nav also has a compass.
The EXL has additionally: Homelink, Front passenger seat is powered, memory seating for 2, 450 watt stereo, remote start, smart key entry, moon roof, heated, mirrors, LED Fog lights, Blond Spot Monitoring, and heated front seats. The Sport model has none of these features.
yes they are the same mechanically. The EX, is the next model up giving you more amenities. You will get a moonroof, blind Spot monitoring, heated seats, and smart key entry with the walk away auto lock feature.
Both the EX and EXL have Apple CarPlay and Android Auto allowing you to use your cell phone and pull it up on the car's touch screen. A the EXL model you can get the car with navigation built in. The EX has 8 speakers at 180 watts. The EXL has 10 speakers at 450 watts.
New drivers are going to make mistakes and get in accidents for the most part. So I would recommend a less expensive vehicle to learn on. As you get more experience then look into something nicer. I do like some of the safety features on the Accord for new drivers though. I think they will be very helpful.
you can buy the model with navigation built-in for an additional cost. Or you can plug your phone into the USB and use Apple carplay or Android auto for navigation for free.
You can change the background of the display - Here is a tutorial in a CR-V, but the setting are all the same. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MJfgP_93tBw.html
