I test drive the 1.5 manual and auto and loved them both. Impicking up my 68 plate polished metal one on Saturday and cant wait. Do you get any service included? Is it a 3 year warranty?
Have fun with it man it’s an amazing car! Yes it’s 3 years free warranty from new and depending on your finance package you can have 3 free services included (I think) 1 major service and 2 minor services (I think that’s how it works?)
I’ve been driving one of these since new for over 18 months now. Overall a very nice car, and one which I always look forward to driving (which is not something I could say for all the other cars I have owned over the past 40 years). My main gripe is with the Garmin satnav which frankly is abysmal - the UK map is full of errors, most of the time it doesn’t take you on the best route, and there is no way to input map corrections. In fact it’s so bad you are better off pairing your phone and using Google maps, which can be made to come up on the Honda’s centre console. My only other gripes are the black alloys - in city driving it’s near impossible not to scrape these on the kerb when you park, and the aircon - mine sprung a leak after only just over a year’s use, but I understand that this is due to the refrigerant which the EEC forces all car makers to use nowadays, and leaks are a common problem with all makes.
Yes I totally agree with you but I’m personally not bothered about the Garmin Sat Nav due to the fact I use Apple car play which is great because like you said the Garmin system is crap. As for the alloys however they are 17” alloys so personally if you curb them it’s down to your driving at the end of the day I guess? The Honda I bought had a curbed alloy and because it’s a diamond cut wheel it costs me £150 to repair. And Honda actually advise you to do a A/C service after 2 years and it’s £120 which I think is daylight robbery.
Love the car overall, just think that the interior is a bit dated. Compared to other companies bringing cars out at the moment. The screen is too small and the digital cockpit looks tacky in my opinion 🥴
I’d agree with screen being a bit small but the digital cockpit is fine compared to other cars. You have to take into consideration that this is not a car that’s supposed to be full of tech etc like the German cars

If you look on autotrader they retail a lot less than equivalent Audi or VW golf. I paid 15.5k for pre reg civic SR with 0 miles on it. Equivalent golf would be 23k
Okay I would opt for the auto then if you sit in traffic a lot. I was doing it on a basis of driving experience but on the odd occasion the auto does feel jerky

Andy Budgen Andy Budgen I have had the front sensors go off in the rain but it got replaced with a new grille but it was under warranty so it’s free. But yes you will enjoy it a lot. I still enjoy driving it still to this day
Buddy no point upgrading it heavily coz you may as well save up for the type R! But if you were going to I would add some 20mm einbach spacers and some new wheels. Maybe a new miltek exhaust as well. But it starts getting really expensive which then u could just buy the type R. Hope this helps man! 👍
Buddy i bought Type-r wing from all4honda.com/ wich is loacted in netherlands. they have all kinds of upgrads parts and interior for honda :) check it up
