the wife has a 2022 CRV and broke her windshield ,the wind shield shop installed a new window ,that's when we got all these alarms , one dealer wanted 500.00 to readjust the windshield camera , we phoned an other Honda dealer and the adjusted the windshield camera for 240.00 , been good ever since , just to much comfort gadgets on these vehicles , and that's why I still enjoy driving my 2005 S10 blazer ,its simple . this was in Calgary Alberta
Hello! Please tell me, should the Radar be rigidly fixed? In the video you try to move it. And the radar is not moving. On my Honda CRV 2018 car, the radar is not fixed firmly and can be shaken by hand! It should not be? Regards, Ivan. 04/19/24.
@@PhillipBailey Hello! Please tell me how you removed the radar cover, did you remove the protective cover? Then how? After all, you need to completely remove the radar. Is it possible to remove the radar without removing the radiator grille? I can not.
My 2019 Honda CRV had the same warning lights on and I went to Honda and they were charging me over $1000 because according to them the radar sensor needed to be replaced. I took my car and said I'll be back the next day. I am a very nosy person so I took the cover off the radar, moved it around a bit, drove a mile or so and the warnings were gone. That is, these warnings appear when the frontal Radar moves from its place for some reason and that is why these warnings are shown later.

@@vanyanazarenko I don't understand exactly what you mean but if you are trying to remove the radar from the car, simply move the small front cover that is only held in place with some clips in each corner and to remove the radar it is also almost the same since it is only held in place by 4 plastic fasteners and then you have to disconnect the connection that goes to the radar, I do not recommend removing it completely since you can lose the alignment and the car will mark errors on the dashboard.
Any chance this sensor issue could cause the car to go into limp mode? My 2018 is doing the same thing and last weekend my accelerator wouldn't respond. No rev of the engine, car just coasted to the side of the road..
I went through the exact same thing last summer and the high pressure fuel pump in the engine bay required replacement. Honda wanted $1,600 to repair it, I did it myself with an OE Beck Arnley pump purchased on Amazon for $210.
@@ew5364 There is actually a recall on those fuel pumps. See Recall 23V-858. static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2023/RCLRPT-23V858-1287.PDF "Owners who have paid to have these repairs completed at their own expense may be eligible for reimbursement, in accord with the recall reimbursement plan on file with NHTSA."
I have a 2023 ridgeline with only 2400 miles on it. Had a light snow event, only 2 inches, that caused all the warning lights to go off. I had to get it reset by dealer 3 times before it finally cleared. They told me the sensors are so sensitive that they had people have the same problem with a heavy rain event. If this is going to happen every time it snows, I may have to trade it in.
what is your suggestion? I want to buy OBD tool/scanner. I do not want to buy expensive OBD tool scanner to calibrate Radar Sensor in front of the vehicle I want to do this job by myself. Honda CRV 2017
You will need a scan tool with dealer level capability. No cheap obd2 scanner will do this. On top of that you will need targets and other tools depending upon your vehicle and what you are trying to calibrate. Most independent shops cannot justify the expense of this equipment and leave that to the dealership
Have to get it diagnosed. There are dozens of possibilities for the same warning lights to come on. News to so a network code scan and report to start with.
