Rouge 1972 Apple Play is nice for music and news. Very nice. The problem is that it takes over my screen . I lose a great Nav screen. Actually, the Ford Sync 3 is an awesome entertainment scree. It substitutes a mediocre by comparison, Apple screen and Apple Nav, or whatever it is. I have stopped using it as my Factory Sync 3 screen is too good to give up.

I’m in the market. This will be my 4th Infiniti. I’m skeptical with a purchase of a used qx30 because of the Mercedes Benz engine. 4 years later..how’s yours doing?

@@Boristhebulletdodger86 No big mechanical issues as of now (knock on wood). Still get the same MPG. That being said, my car is low mileage. So far, two main issues - a speed sensor in a wheel went out recently, which was expensive as hell to fix since its an infiniti. I'm still not entirely sure it was actually the sensor given I've had previous repair on the harness at the same dealership due to rodent damage. Second issue and my biggest irritation is that the top LED strip in one of the headlights has gone out. Not the headlight itself but the "eyebrow" shaped light strip above it. I'm going to have to ask around at non-dealership shops because the Infiniti service techs insist that there is "absolutely no way" to repair it and expect me to pay a couple THOUSAND dollars for a full replacement headlight assembly. But somehow I managed to find some posted fixes on owners forums.... odd, isn't it? The service techs that cost so much money to look at my car don't have repair options but strangers on the internet have posted them. Unfortunately I am not mechanically inclined so getting to the assembly to try those will likely not work out for me. I have to say that put a sour taste in my mouth regarding Infiniti. Likely won't own one again.

@@akriandurin151 ahh. Wow thanks for your fast reply. I’m really excited to get this little car. Oh, and I had a headlamp issue with my 2017-QX50 and saved hundreds buying a headlamp from a nearby car junk yard for $30. Make sure you bring tools and watch a few how to’s videos before getting there so you’re not at the junk yard all day. Then I took it to my nearby auto body shop and they charged me $70 for 1 hour of labor to install it.

LOL you're right I do drive a piece of crap! I bet you do too if you're that angry and quick to insult someone for their opinion. Anyways, $30k makes more sense, especially considering non-luxury compact suv's like the CX5 top out around $33k and offer more value for money. Then again, the subcompact luxury suv is definitely more about buying into a brand than getting your money's worth.

It's cheaper to maintain an Infiniti. Much like a $100+ oil change for a Mercedes or BMW.
