My dad has it in his 2013 ram 1500 with 305hp

The penestar V6 is a real nice engine, probably the best engine Chrysler’s ever made, it’s powerful and has good torque, it sounds pretty good, and it’s super reliable and bulletproof. They’ll hold up after 200k+ miles on it easily.

It sounds mean af. But bulletproof? Naw. Toyota does it better

@@krus180 broski I l know guys in my country who have these E220 mercedeses that are 10-12 years old cars with 2.5 turbodiesel (sometimes twinturbos even) engines and they got waaay higher gas mileage than my dad's 5.7 hemi 1500 RAM (which already has an established reputation for shitty fuel economy) ...

@@davidtarara6728 because they drive them everywhere as if they have a pregnant wife whose water already broke free all the time, trying to be badass n shit. But when you drive one gently, cruising and softling letting off, then they can really sip. So no, less cylinders will (almost) always guarantee less fuel consumption, regardless of how its driven.

@@krus180 thats true also 😂 The difference in the mileage I get when cruising on the autobahn at a constant speed vs flooring it at every stoplight in the city is phenomenal ... keep in mind I do drive a 2.0 turbocharged JL

Took my moms lifted JL on the interstate one day and floored it til I hit 90. It feels so much faster when it’s lifted.

I own a 2018 JL, its very loud inside a lot of wind and road noise. Its not a problem for me now i got used to it.

I agree with you, but they only go that fast because of the governor in the computer. Factory vehicles have one, each for different reasons but mostly to prevent a crash or serious damage. I’m not sure if this Jeep is meant for the German market tho since most German cars are not governed on purpose.

I found the answer on Jeep's website: Part-time 4x4 systems lock the front and rear axles together so the front and rear wheels turn at the same speed. If attempting to turn or drive on dry surfaces, binding (''crow hop'') and driveline noise (a ''bang'' or ''shudder'') will occur, which can lead to overheating and early part failure. 4x4 part-time systems don’t use a center differential, so the front and rear wheel axles are locked together. If attempting to maneuver or turn on dry pavement, the tires will lose traction, causing driveline noise, such as a ''bang'' or vehicle ''shudder''.

grand cherokee is heavier than wrangler :)

Rubicon has 4.1 differential, grand cherokee with same engine has 3.45. Same transmission.

Also, the wrangler’s suspension is 5x more sensitive and jumpy.

What do you expect its a jeep not a corvette or a track-hawk. A jeep is primarily for off road with high torque. Thats why red line is so small at 7k. (Edit) also if you where to try to take a turn at like 100mph you would flip.

Jeep wouldn't expect you to go that fast
