got my cx9 few weeks ago. now the answer to your question about its price point, it's definitely a big YES for me. at 280k, every penny well spent. very spot on reviews on the car's performance and presence. thank you Kon. keep'em good reviews coming!
Having reviewed both the CX-8 and CX-9, which would you pick as a daily driver? The CX-8 would be a more logical choice since because it is smaller and would handle better in tight traffic. But just wanted to know if there are other compelling reasons to pick the CX-9 over the CX-8 .

This cost 2,830,000 philippine pesos while bmw x3 cost around 4,500,000 philippine pesos. its no compare. I just dont know how much those mercedes benz and bmw cost in malaysia
Ermm... similar price gap. In Malaysia, the CX-9 FWD is about RM280k, AWD is RM300k. Mercedes GLC 200 RWD is RM288k, whilst BMW X3 (F25) went for about RM320k for the xDrive20i.
The GLC drives and rides better, but for equipment, space, and overall value, the CX-9 is the superior package. The CX-9's interior quality also feels better than the Merc.
CX-8 may come this year, 2.5 NA, but I doubt there'll be a CX-9 Diesel as this vehicle is catered primarily for North American and Asian markets where demand for diesels are weak. Not sure if the Vito is a legitimate comparison although, interestingly, Bermaz also distributes the Vito in Malaysia.
