I like everything about it except for the front end (especially the headlights). The 650s, 675lt, and P1 have much better looking front ends in my opinion.
Wow, Sofyan! Great review of a BEAST of a car! This McLaren 570S Spider sure seemed to have packed quite the punch off the line! Also, the exterior has such a flowing design. While, the interior follows the same design language, but with noticable luxurious touches. Despite some of its quirky features, most people that buy this car are looking for all the frills of a supercar's performance, with a design that'll surely break peoples necks to look at. I truly cant wait to start reviewing supercars... As always, from one car reviewer to another, keep up the incredible work.
Dislike when people say these have Lambo doors... they're completely different. Mc Larens use dihedral doors, they not only pivot on an axis but they also flair outward, similar to a gullwing, hence why they look like wings as well. Lambo "scissor" doors more or less just pivot up... when open they dont look like wings
Been subscribed for a long time now and it seems as if you're "climbing the ladder" my only recommendation is instead of talking about all if the positives, include negatives to the car. Speak what you truly feel, this is why Doug is so popular.
I would love to see a review on the 570gt and I would also love to know if the car is reliable and doesn't break down the way other supercars do, thanks a lot friend
I test drove a 2018 McLarens 570s spider one time. And that thing's an insane little beast. One crazy ass twin turbo V8 supercar. Except the color I drove was like a dark blue with brown leather. The one I drove belong to my real dad's brother. My uncle.
Hey Sofyan when you said that it doesnt have a Park gear and just neutral and a parking brake, somehow it just gave me and old Ford Ranger pick up truck kind of vibe because thats litteraly the procedure for me to park my truck. I put the transmission into neutral, and my trucks a stickshift, then i stomp on the parking brake pedal :). Been wanting something zipppy since my Dad got my GTI. Dang thats a fast machine. 3300 lbs and that 60mph was like 3 seconds.

We are also not making fun of the fact they are gay but of the fact you could tell he was trying to hide it for some reason which led to that funny statement of " he's my camera man" a couple of times which also led to a little uneasy tension and possibly a giggle or two between each other! Did you drive in comfort mode? I found the ride super complaint, especially compared to a gtr. Also, I thought the mfg weight is 2900 lbs, you mentioned 2 different amounts during the video. Well done overall, very informed.
@Redline Reviews, about the price in the end, you said the regular 570 starts at 108K and the convertible is about 20K more. Then you say if you are going to spend $200k, what's 20K? Did you mean to say the price to be 208K as their website shows?
Mclaren to me is like the gentlemen's super car. Ferrari is like everyone's first super car. Lambo is the kid that yells "I'M RICH LOOK AT ME". Mclaren just tries look as efficient as possible while looking super cool
Wow - that looks like some serious turbo lag. Photos do not do this car justice. I almost got a ride in a 570S around VIR at last year's C/D Lightning Lap, but was too sick from some previous laps.

StevieBoy I work on exotic cars every day and I would guess of the car collectors I know about 10% of them are gay which is about their % of the population. Yesterday I was working (for a straight guy) on an SLR who also owns an Aventador and a 720s , he just raved about the McLaren and said the Lamborghini drove like a truck in comparison.
Great review but you can tell that you don’t do these type of cars a lot. Example is the drive modes. It’s the power train and the suspension for each knob
Honestly, we had about an hour with the car to film this review, which is why its a bit shorter than usual. If you check our our NSX video where we had 5 days with it, we were able to cover more things about it in detail. It takes a lot of time to film these videos and when you have only an hour, it makes it extremely difficult to get all the shots we need.
Shahed Kabir he has the 2014 review, it's basically the same car, just different headlights and grill, I mean, if you want to know the driving dynamics...

Looks like my Delsol , Revs and Sounds like my Del Sol. I think I will stick with my Del Sol. Nearly 30 years and all systems are literally as good as a sub 5 year old car. Plastics not deteriorating, Engine behaves like it is just 5 years old, no leaks, no oil consumption, economical and passess road worthy each year. Parts not restricted like Tesla and parts everywhere (After market, junk yard and even NEW)
