Nice review, bud! This is one of the few newer CUVs that have an available manual transmission. This would probably be the only way I’d buy this- with a manual.

I have a Lancer ES with the CVT, and you do get used to it. I actually like Mitsubishi's CVT, because it behaves like one should, no fake shift points. It is quick to downshift as well.

I’m starting to like my CVT. when i had it brand new, it tends to over-rev which used to be mildly annoying BUT now, after driving over 2k miles, it seem like it has already programmed to up rev a lil less….ONLY WHEN NEEDED which is actually efficient. wow. my favorite part about the CVT is that it can rev up efficiently from 25 mph to 65 without having to be aggressive.

I always had a hidden love for the Mitsubishi FTO, wish you could get your hands on one of them for a review. Doesn't surprise me to see a bunch of Outlander Sport's around Chicagoland, makes me wonder how many dealers are doing subprime auto loans

Just a little advice when you review a vehicle the ppl want to see the car in the beginning of the video so you should show us around the car first inside and out wnd then start driving

I wish this guy would learn how to get maximum acceleration out of a CVT equipped vehicle. Punching it right to the floor like you would a conventional transmission equipped vehicle is wrong. You MUST just quickly/gradually if that makes sense. In other words a fast steady push to the floor. NOT instantly to the floor but in a progressive way. This will allow the CVT to spool up faster thus giving you better gains in speed. Spooling up is the equivalent to shifting gears. I f you want to see spooling up just Google how a CVT works.

I had a new 2016 es 2.4 for 2 years and loved it!!!! This was my first car. I Put 52000 miles on it. I wasnt a fan of the cvt. I traded it for a 2019 Chevy Equinox, overall its a better vehicle and I like it better.

Only problem? The ride is awful, rough, choppy & steering wheel/frame feels massively loose.
