2018 mustang GT 10R80 trans temps finally under control? 

What cooler did you go with and do you have any pics of it installed? Do you have the oil cooler installed too?

Was there any fitment issues with it? The website says it's for 2015-2017 models only and when speaking with a rep they said it doesn't fit the 2018+. They couldn't tell me why, but just that it doesn't due to some small clearance differences.

My 2018 Gt Premium edition had a transmission coolant line go this summer. Before it was fixed, I could cruise at 100km/h and it would stay cool and not boil out of the leak but once I cruised at any speed above that, the fluid would heat up and start to leak out on to exhaust. Since it has been fixed I haven’t noticed any problems but was already considering installing the Mishimoto trans cooler for extra cooling since the problem come about. From what I read, you can’t install the Mishimoto trans cooler to the stock rad. Is this true or do you still have the stock rad in your 2018 GT?

You should ask around and see if there is a trans thermostat mod like there is for my platform. I have a 16 single cab short bed gmc cammed converter full Bolton. For my trans basically all i had to do is either remove the thermostat completely or flip it around. And it allows the fluid to constantly flow through the trans cooler. Dropped my trans temps a full constant 15 degrees and cost me nothing but a little trans fluid to top it off. I’m not sure how the 10r80 is designed if you can flip the thermostat or remove it and still seal it off but it’s definitely worth looking at. No check engine light and no negative affects in the past 25k miles daily driven that way 🤷‍♂️

Temps are down so it was worth it whether they say it was alright or not. Cars looking like a beast.
