I seriously could not even listen to the first pitch because of that dude constantly sniffing. So annoying.

Interesting that the CH Robinson guys were questioned and seemed to be doubted yet achieved the quickest return meanwhile all the others were initially a loss even outperforming in a weaker market. Lesson. Don’t listen to doubters and the more you’re ridiculed for an idea the more likely you are onto something. Psychology plays a HUGE role into market prices wether people say they do or don’t. Also the Spotify guys were onto something and eventually correct but would’ve had to hold through the Stimulus Bubble and waited for the bust. Just by being off with Time can destroy your idea. Market is a mega humbling machine.

Very helpful insight Mr Bill & Co as always. Big fan of yours. One bothering question, why can’t everyone invest equal amounts on short and buy at the same stock price chasing > 5x return? Logically, upside is unlimited and no downside. The only thing is, 5x opportunities only surface in depressed time. Why invest a fortune/time/research only in shorts for maximum 100% return? Possibly, gaining a long term intangible return.

CH Robbin generates a ton of free cash flows. I don't know about shorting it. It generated $700 million in free cash flows in 2019... profits don't matter. It's free cash flows that matter...
