Diana Gabaldon is the author of the OUTLANDER novels, described by Salon magazine as "the smartest historical sci-fi adventure-romance story ever written by a science Ph.D. with a background in scripting ‘Scrooge McDuck’ comics." She also serves as co-producer and writer for the popular Outlander TV series on the Starz network.

What an amazing woman! Was wondering when she taught at UCLA. I went there in 1977.

Wonderful to hear the beginning of Diana's writing career. Felt for Diana in her telling of the tension getting her book published in the last few hurdles she had to overcome

Diana is just fabulous, I never tire of listening to her, I'm just fascinated w/ the way her mind works, her novels are some of my favorite books. Thank you for posting this interview :)
