Lou That’s very mild compared to what he does in the series. He said in another interview somewhere that he’d lived in London a lot and so lost much of the Scottish accent. He can sure bring it back, though!

Your right, he did won the genetic lottery in terms of looks. But if he didn't have such a lovely personality I'm not sure so many would see him like this. Sam Heughan seems to be beautiful inside and out.

YES! This is the first comment I've seen that matches what I think. I love their chemistry but they can be overly goofy sometimes, so we can't get these deep, thoughtful responses; and Cait does dominate the interviews.

There are some really great interviews actually...that Ive got to see some anyway, particularly during lockdown...with the Peakers, the men in Kilts etc..I have done the same

I was just thinking the same. He was truly himself and I loved him in this interview. So unassuming and natural.

Agreed with you I watch all the series so far, Poldark, succession, etc, but this is just a superb serie, & yes Sam should win awards for his work, it was so real at almost the end of series 4. I was orwerwelmed with anxiety, I thaught how ridiculous . I usually never watch series ??? you have to much time waisted in between, but this time I was told how good it was , I was able to watch all the Episodes one after the others, & well at the end it just got to me , some of the parts become hard to watch, like jamie being whipped & later raped, was just agonising. it was so humiliating, I must admit english in war, all over time ares very cruels, I seen what they did to the Autralians Aboriginals peoples while Colonising , the Americans Indiens, the scotts & manies others, they can be ruthless. Sorry

I would suspect a bit of a backlash for being "King of Men." Really excellent portrayal. The way he acts with his eyes is something else.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing about her being calm! Usually an interviewer is either ill-prepared (has never seen the show, doesn't care, etc.) or they're fan-girling and giggly because they're so nervous. And in both cases they tend to ask the same clichéd questions. I always like it when this girl does the interviews!

yes I agree most of the time they just talk about the sex scenes and his acting is so much more just like the other actors and actresses. The interviewer did an amazing job!!!

One of my favourite interviews with Sam, this interviewer has a soft and interested approach which is so appreciated. And although I really love Caitriona, as a few people have mentioned, she tends to answer all the questions, Sam is a big boy is quite capable of holding a conversation without help, so this was nice. :)

I agree. His parents did a splendid job of raising him. No one traumatized him, and the Steiner school is excellent. Good parenting and excellent schools are a recipe for success in growing up.

Happy to see I'm not the only one feeling like this after 2 weeks of binge-watching Outlander 😂😱 The only way to cope with the post TV-show sadness that will last until february is to start reading the books!

You are so right. Her behavior is total anoying me. Thats why I love interviews with Sam alone. He has so much to say and should have the chance to do it.

I don't necessarily agree about the 'overly confident' remark (I actually think she knows that he is the much 'favored' personality and is a bit jealous of him) but couldn't agree more with everything else. She's very full of herself and IMO is just another pretty face and wouldn't be noticeable at all if not playing against Sam.

I think he’s a gentleman and always defers to Caitriona when they’re together. I never feel like she’s being aggressive in answering all the questions.
