@hasubhanwatandost6083 5 years later and still no major issues with the engine and transmission. The biggest issue so far has been the power sliding doors but toyota fixed it twice under warranty and that stuff goes bad on every vehicle, doesn't impact the drivability. The Toyota Sienna vans are def worth the money.
Here’s a surprise from Toyota! This vehicle has issues with tires wearing uneven and excessively. Be ready to change tires at just 17K miles. Read complaints at Sienna chat forum. Toyota has no fix for this issue as of now and dealers will tell you it’s normal tire wear. If you have less than 12K miles and within the first year I suggest check your tires ASAP for the uneven and excessive wear and complaint right away with Toyota USA they might cover your tires warranty. Past one year and 12K Miles you’re on your own. I’m planning to trade mine for a Honda ASAP as tire or suspension issues could potentially be a safety issue. This is a family car and safety should be top priority!
Radius Thanks for the warning. Was that just the 2018 model? Do you happen to know if it applies to the 2017 or 2019 models? Also, did you get the Honda Odyssey, and if so, are you glad that you did?
2old4allthis mine was 2017 not sure about 2018. Also front wheel drive. I’ve read in the sienna chat awhile ago the four wheel drive versions don’t have this issue. Yes I ended up getting a Honda Odyssey so far so good no issues. My friends 2017 sienna eventually had to replace tires at 24K miles but he installed non Michelin tires.
Radius Thanks. I did the research you suggested, and I am out of the Sienna market. It appears to apply to nearly every year model of this minivan. Didn’t see much info about the AWD, which, like you said, may mean less people are having problems with it. Good to hear about the Odyssey.
I do think the color of this Sienna Limited is (Super) White, which is not offered on this trim. I think it is Blizzard Pearl, which is a special Toyota metallic paint which costs more.
Unfortunately due to this video being over 6 years old, this unit has sold. However, we do have units similar to this on our pre-owned lot frequently. If you're interested in more details please reach out to our sales team at 7803067703, or email us at sales@sptoyota.com, thank you!
Toyota need to get their shit together or we are switching to Honda. No android auto or apple car play is criminal. Utter crap. The new van better come soon or Honda it is.
Nothing the Pacifica has will beat the Sienna's reliability. We looked at both and the Sienna is better designed as well as feeling better built. Also dealer offers free car wash every Saturday I can't complain. I wouldn't be the least bit shocked if FCA goes bankrupt in my life time.
