Happy New Year!
The Practice is a weekly show where I share my creative process. I create digital art, illustrations and animations in cinema 4d, photoshop and other art and design applications.
This week I wanted to celebrate the new year by making a typographic piece centered around 2018. I didn't have a clear outcome in mind, and wound up switching gears about 20 minutes in, and I'm glad I did. The final image used nasa photography of mars to create displacement maps and a landscape. Retouched and color corrected in photoshop.
