Great install video. Correct me if I am wrong. This BOV is purely to make sure that you have no leaks, especially when running at higher Stage2 boost level. It does not affect the spool up (both stock and new bov blow off internally) at all. Anyway, for DSG the throttle valve stays open and hence the boost is maintained during shifts, so the spool up is not really relevant. For manual GTIs, quicker spool would be beneficial obviously..

I have the GFB DV+ and it sits at a 90* angle. Made sure it works with is38 turbo though

hmm the DV+ spacer i remember was not a 90 degree angle piece.

It does.. because I had that combo.. it was tight tho. The elbow has to go on last.

maybe. i think it helps something.. between shifts is the most valuable spot it helps.

@@LastHumansGarage For some reason mine fluttered at low rpms and after 5 days it started making loud spools like a bov...it's odd. Trying to figure what is wrong. It's getting annoying. Shhhututututut.

What are the proven dyno gains on this? I almost went with the forge kit but the srock DV is efficient enough. Good for 25psi at least. I spent the money elsewhere but I did not know about this one. And with the dsg you wont have any lag issues between gears lol

@@Qwibby Thanks Dave Ramsey, but power gains aren't the only desired benefits of mods. You're also basing your comment on the theory that the stock DV cannot possibly be improved upon.

yes, i am in fact. its installed, but as soon as someone paypals me the money, i would uninstall it in an hour or two. the price is the key though... im not giving it away.. (and it only fits 2018's...) (and im not shipping outside of USA, it would cost over $100..)
