Science Rocks lol I moved out of my parents house when I was 18. My parents never bought me a dirt bike, I worked all summer for a 1990 yz125 when I was 14 (all I could afford) and wasn’t able to afford a nicer bike until I was 19 when I bought a 2003 yz250. Many years and many bikes later I’m 32yrs old now and own my own business, successful but still not rich, but definitely never a rich spoiled kid.
Science Rocks first off there is no excuse for a teenager not to have a little money to buy dirt bike, teenagers are able bodied enough to do some work to make some money, especially when they don’t have to pay rent. Second off a 65 is not meant for a teenager, a 125 two smoke is a teenager bike depending on your size a 250 two smoke mite even be better. I was 175 and 6’3 at 16 so I could have gone with a 250 honestly. Therefore if you’re into riding, and a teenager that is fully capable of working to afford a bike your size and are still riding a 65, yes, you need to rethink some things. Some of those things mite be... 1. You’re lazy and don’t want to work for your shit. 2. You are a pussy and are afraid to step up to a bike your size. 3. Do you just want to be a professional pit bike rider or do you actually want to ride lol
I still have my brothers yz 60 in the building. It is an 81 or 1983. It's yellow and black, and liquid cooled. I believe my dad got it all those years ago from Biggers brothers racing, his is one of a kind. In its day it would keep up with the then yz 80.
Yamaha, just get the pricing right, it’s time to think volume as well as profit margin to get back the numbers of kids in the late 70”s and esp 80s riding and learning and having fun again.
yes I am. I need some parts. left side stator cover, expansion pipe stay(hanger), shock. maybe some other stuff. let me know if you want to sell any parts
get a progressive spring for the rear shock for sure !!!! that bike is sweet !!!!! this just means the new powervalve yz85 is coming next. ktm is toast !!!!!!!
