One wonderful trick for the Accord (and many other Honda products) -after you unlock the car with the keyfob, press and hold the unlock button again. All your windows will go down. Helpful on a hot day! Love the Accord LX. (That’s all I could afford right now). But packed with features. Except no glovebox and trunk light. 😬
Ty ty ty ! For this video u showed everything even where to put the key if u had a jumper start kit in your truck and u showed how to take it out the remote you keep doing informative videos like this especially on the base model cars , the cars everyone would most likely be able to buy your channel is gonna sky rocket, I can't wait to get my Accord, They don't come in that beautiful velvet blue for the LX model I keep trying to look for 1 in 2018 or in the deep bronze brown can't find them ? Great Job! on the video especially how u keep showing the outside of the car as well... I hate when I see videos and they just show them talking about the cars while inside them
that is alot of features for an Accord LX. back in the day that would've been considered a loaded car, Honda did a job on this car. the only thing i worry about is the reliability of the turbo and CVT, Honda has been known to produce vibration issues in these newer Honda vehicles. also that 9 speed auto has had some issues as well, but it's a nice looking car so far. for my money the new Camry would be my 1st choice, but the Accord would be a close 2nd.
Honda corrected the issue with the CVT vibration after the '15 CR-V. The 2.0T has a 10-sp not the 9-sp that you are referring to. Also Honda has a lot of knoledge with turbo engines with their Inday (2.2-liter twin turbo V-6's putting out estimated 550-750 hp ) and Formula One race cars too.
Strongly recommend to go with 2.0L as I test drove both and there is a big difference in those 2 engine’s 2 being much more responsive as well as on sport or higher models you’ll get tons of different features that LX just don’t do justice to this 2018 Accord, leather steering wheel as well as heated and cooling seats etc.
A remote start is a must on all trims.....especially in Central America it’s cold 🥶 we need to start and heat our car before we drive it....Honda pls make the remote start standard in all trims....
Hey, Great Review! Does the entire led strip on the back light up or just the one on the side when brakes are pressed? I am asking since my accord only lights up the lights on the side. Thanks!
Rick Kruger, no i am talking about the actual tail lights, not the one on the rear wind shield. I have observed on some other videos that the lights that extend on the trunk dont light up for lower trims, whereas they light up for touring. Can you confirm?
Thanks Kruger your review was easy and simple You forgot to accelerate Try to find someone can hold your camera it will be better this will be my next car Continue and good luck
Yup, the 2.0T go on sale Nov. 18th and dealers have placed orders for December. I have the list right now of what I cam getting. Honda will ship a few to each dealer before they get what they order. What are you looking for? Want me to ship it to you?
Rick Kruger Thanks Rick for your reply, I am interested in the Touring 2.0L in the Black exterior/Ivory interior. If you happen to get one before December, please let me know.
I just checked, Honda has not released build dates for dealers on the 2.0T. But showes them what they will get from their order from 10 days ago. Just not... when?
I sat in an EX model for the first time yesterday while getting my oil changed. I thought the interior looked bland online but it really isn't that bad in person. Less clutter is good, I guess. I never really totally liked the exterior design. The front end isn't quite as hideous in person. It has a striking presence when facing one on the road, but the back end kills it every time. The rear will never grow on me. The new Insight on the other hand gets it right.
Rick Kruger. Thanks for your reply regarding the sensing package on all trim levels. I was just wondering when will the lx trim level come standard with remote engine start and Android Auto and Apple Car Play?
Accord smoke's the new Camry test drove both instantly bought the new accord Camry looks like a big plastic front end with no crime and the inside accord blows it away again iPhone and Android compatible
I own both. The Camry is nicer in my opinion. I'm using the Accord as my commuter and the Camry as my weekend car. Both cars are nice, but I like how the Camry drives better. To my eyes, the Camry looks sportier, while the Accord looks more luxurious.
Sam P Not sure what there is to 'be ware' of? As you can see at the 5 minute mark, I never mentioned XM radio. And yes you're correct there is no power seat, that is one of the many things that differentiates the EX model over the LX model in this video.
I'm sorry I didn't make my self clear. I was referring to the actual buying of the car. And the salesperson not telling the whole story about the car. Nothing to do with you I think you are doing a wonderful job. I didn't come to Utube soon enough.
Caleb Chapman the only thing that I can see in my crystal that is so horrible is some guy by the name of Caleb Chapman..but I do like this new accord. I will be getting one next year
Looks like a nice car but the sticker shows "Audio system with 4 speakers"? Really Honda, I know it's the base model but you can't do a little better than that?
