@@gfy305 it’s been great , no complaints here , the install is super easy and being a dry filter imo was the a good choice for my truck , the oiled filters are great too but myself I prefer the dry . After a year of having it the maintenance is very minimal.
Does not look like a too well thought of design with the MAF sensor directly next to the PCV inlet. That design looks like it will foul the MAF sensor in no time. Ideally you'd want the sensor closer the air box, and away from the PCV inlet.
i installed it correctly step by step but it keeps popping up everytime i start my truck on the info message screen check your engine air filter but everything seems okay just want to see y’all can help me figure it out
Reinstalling here and actually waiting the minimum 2 hours... I didn't do that last time and got the CEL several times. It was not mentioned in another video I watched originally for the install. Hoping this 2 hours is the trick for no CELs
@@Gordito4 so far I haven't had any CEL come on. But I still had slight irregular rpm at idle bought the jet performance mass air sensor hoping to correct that issue but that didn't work either. Seems like it idles smoother with stock set-up.
