I got the 08.2015 420d B47 with 175k km without xDrive. Still, an awesome car. Haven't change the chain yet, thinking on it. No awkward sounds yet and it drives perfectly. Cheers to you mate, really enjoying you vids, especially these about F series. Thank you

Got a F36 430d n57 xdrive, it is just a simply amazing car to drive 😍 thanks for this video! :)
Oh it sure is and bmw made a good choice finally buying ZF and sticking to them these are the gearboxes made for BMW’s none of that GM junk they used in the e60 and e39 diesels
Put your seatbelt on bro, we need to keep you around 😂😂 Nice car, they gave me the 2019 120i 2litre twin turbo petrol for the day. Loved it the paddle shifts are seamless and the sport+ was a laugh 🍩🍩
I know mate lol 😂 man they don’t give me shit when I went they checked it while I was there told me everything fine and that’s it gone within 10 min apparently 2006 and up have no issues
I got 420 d 2017 model When I drive car I can’t not change drive mode When car is stop I can change My old f 30 2015 model When I drive I can change any time What’s that problem ?
Hi bmw doctor I have the same car but 2015 with 80k on it i have noticed when slowing down in comfort mode especially that it seems to jerk in the lowest gears only when slowing , wife thinks im jumping on the brakes. Not sure why it does this but have read others mention it as well seems to be talk about a software update ?? yours views would be appreciated .....thx
Hi mate Thanks for the detailed and honest drive. I’m having to change from my Mercedes c250 CDi next year due to the ulez rules. Would you put the 420d gran coupe ahead of the E class coupe or do you think the e class is better build quality?
I've got the rear wheel drive 420i, same year. I can't compare to the xdrive as I haven't driven it. Only thing I will say is if you put your foot down out of a junction when its wet/slick the back end kicks out from time to time.
I have read that the xdrive 420d is harder on fuel than the normal rear wheel drive version, the difference can be as much as 5 miles per gallon, is this true? Can someone who owns an xdrive please comment? Thanks
Yes it is as it delivers torque to all wheels which means more torque means more power which means another diff needing more fuel to make more power but so what the 4 wheel drive system is very very nice on this engine and sticks to the road like shit because of that they should of used this system years ago for the diesels
I’ve got this exact same car. Same trim, M Sport, same size rims, same 420D XDrive, same features as this. I get 33mpg (just about) in city driving and always have it on eco pro. This, to me, is not normal and was actually wondering why so low and whether it should be higher and I should get my car checked?
Wow!! I’ve got a 2014, 420d sport level but with a stupid amount of extras. Love it as on a motorway trip sticking to the speed limit with the wife and babies in the car I get 60mpg!!! I get 48MPG average. No joke and I don’t even drive light footed. But I do only put good quality fuel in.
No I know mate this car really really does drive really well and I have to say bmw have really upped there anti with this car and especially the diesel and 2.0d if that this is very very quick for a 2.0d and with that xdrive system it makes this car handle and feel planted to the road I think the Uk has been missing this x drive and now we have it I don’t think I would go back to rear wheel drive again you feel the torque immensely better on the 4 wheel drive system then you do on rear wheel drive but the cons to this is basically running 2 cars in one 4 axles two diffs
My seatbelt lol I never wear seatbelt fuck that man lol and we drive on the Correct side of the road :) yeah man the car is banging the paddle shift don’t really do it justice man and the xDrive system makes it beautiful now
I know Kevin man everyone always tells me its a bad habit I have always had it since I started driving need to kick it badly mate sorry to hear that mate that's how most die because of that reason and its a shame but for some people seat belts are really uncomfortable when driving
