Point of View Drive of the 2019 M5 Competition. All I can say is this car is amazing. The sound, the driving experience, and the acceleration. It is put together into a perfect package. Also the sound is A LOT deeper in person, you feel the bass in your body when you stand next to the car.

The popping sounds like the engine is broken but then again it is a BMW which stands for Broken Motor on Wheels

So far our BMW NA reps have told us 617hp, and the website also says that same figure, that's why I've gone with that number. It does seem a lot of sources state 625hp. Maybe euro models have more power or individual dyno runs.

Lu Wei Huang I believe it’s 625 PS ( German horsepower) that converts to 617 brake horsepower

When did all this exhaust " Crackling and Popping " become a cool thing ? I would prefer a steady Deep Tone like an older style muscle car.
