If I was you, Id personally would go F3S, if you were gonna stick with a three wheeled platform from can-am... I love the look of them, this whole thing with your ryker has killed my desire to buy one, along with can ams shitty support on them too.
You may want to check the backside of the wheel to make sure that it’s level and true. I’ve seen a couple Ryker wheels that were machined incorrectly. And they were darting around so severely one of them were even pulled over because the cop thought they were riding under the influence of some drug. But after the wheels were machined flat 99% of the darting from side to side disappeared.
Ghost wobble problems are a nightmare. I just went through that with my scooter, balancing tires and replacing bearings did nothing. Turned out the brand new rear tire just sucked and replacing it fixed everything. I got a lucky nail in the tire/sidewall with only 100 miles on it, and replacing it fixed my wobble.
I'm glad ya got it back! I completely understand your wanting to be shed of it. I wish I had the answers for ya on why that's happening. Mine is in the garage with busted clips and pieces right now. I started to put lights on it and crap started falling apart. I had a clip to break on the right side of the clamshell above the hood and the balck piece in front of my instrument panel broke. Thanks to Can-Am's part issues, I can't order one right now :(.
My son was 8 when I started bringing him with me on two-wheelers. At first I used a harness that held him and connected around my waist. It even had some handles between him and me for him to hang on to. Falling asleep is the biggest issue for sure! As well as moving around while stopped! Also had a Spyder for a few years when he was older, but the best motorcycle solution for carrying him that I found was a Ural sidecar rig, and then a K1200LT rig. Lots of good trips with those. Halcyon days. Used the big Giant Loop rack-less, u-shaped bag mounted on the Ural trunk lid to stabilize his head when he dozed off. Unfortunately, my Ural required a lot of bail outs! (And no secret that the K12 is costly to maintain.) My Ural was no better than your Ryker reliability experience. I see the Can-Am experience hasn’t necessarily changed. To be fair, my last Ural experience was about 10 years ago. Maybe they’re better now, but it was difficult to keep running, made harder by disappearing dealers and service providers. But the good thing is that it’s a machine and can eventually be sorted out if that capability is worth it to you, but maybe it’s not-I get it. Kids grow up so fast and I’m glad I put the money and effort into the sidecars for their capabilities. (Training and practice required!) It’s great that you involve your kids with riding. My “reward” for doing that is that my son now rides, so maybe he and I will have something to talk about someday; and if not, at least he’s able to experience riding for himself now.
That wheel issue should be easy to diagnose for a real technician with the appropriate training and equipment. I use a tool from ATS called the IVA (Intelligent Vibration Analyzer). Based off your statement and beleif, it should be either a wheel bearing, rim or tire. The IVA, some blue painters tape, floor jack, dial indicator and balance machine should be most of what is needed.

My 2019 600 rode pretty straight, my 2022 Sport is arrow straight. I'm going to do my belt myself. Belt $160, clutch tool $40, 2 hrs at most to do. Your trade in value is pretty much nothing. I traded my 2019 600 in June 2020 and the best I could get was 50%.
Wow. Was wondering how it was going with the Ryker. I wish it had a dct transmission with beefier suspension…I know it would cost more. But still. Be safe.
I have a 3 wheeled recumbent trike in the same configuration and I have also had the same ghost wobbling and veering off course issues. It's been back to the manafacturer and other bike shops and no one could fix the issue. Maybe its a trike thing? If your not attached to it then just get another scooter or motor cycle that will give you more enjoyment.
Okay quasi don't let this Limon turn you off to Ryker's. Part this one out and buy a new one. Seriously my 600ACE runs perfect (knock on Can Am wood) I just changed the endlinks and it tracks straight.
I'm going to sound like a parrot. I get that they can pawn off part of the cost of this on a belt change interval, but not covering the broken CVT itself is just @#$& business practice on the part of BRP. You even have video of the incident showing it wasn't abuse. And am I understanding you correctly that a belt change is $1200?? Makes my head spin.
Yep, that's my plan after I pull this wheel off. I want to see it spin on a balancing/truing stand to determine if the wheel is bent, or if the tire itself has a broken belt that's causing it to wobble. These are brand new tires that were just installed by that dealer only 200 miles ago. I'm less than happy with the outcome. 😉👍 --QM
I know this video is over a year old. But why didn't they cover it under warranty? You had a warranty, it's illegal for them. Not to cover it, you could have go on the court. I'm confused, please, explan. Was your warranty expired?
Do you still have the stock sway bar and end links??? Saw video about BRP 33% sway bar upgrade and end links from RykerMods along with a steering stabilizer from BLR Tuning if interested
Yep! I upgraded my Ryker to the stiffer BRP sway bar about 1 week after I got the bike. It made a huge difference in reducing body roll and front end stability. I'm still running the factory (plastic) end-links, so that's the final item that I considered upgrading in the front suspension. I've already thrown thousands of $$$ into the suspension trying to remedy this Ryker's handling problems. So, what's another $100 and an hour of labor gonna hurt?! 🤣👍 --QM

Well... that's what I hoped and assumed. Unfortunately, the Can-Am extended warranty that is resold by dealers (called the "B.E.S.T. Warranty") is through a third-party company. Can-Am apparently doesn't directly service those contracts. To add insult to injury, Can-Am deems EVERYTHING in the transmission and CVT assembly to be "consumable items", so they don't cover replacement or failure of anything in there. The shattered/exploded CVT roller that I experienced was definitely a manufacturing defect, but Can-Am refused to cover it because it is classified as a wear item. That's what really soured me on Can-Am ownership. I experienced TONS of problems with that machine from Day One, and Can-Am never stepped up to the plate to offer assistance. It was always fighting and finger pointing between Can-Am and the dealer to diagnose or cover any issues. I'll spend my hard-earned $$$ with a more reputable company in the future. 😒 --QM

How much more expensive is a standard Can-Am trike tyre compared to a motorcycles? Cos they are technically car tyres right. I know the thin Super Cub street tyres are cheap
Hello Quasi. I personally don't like these 3 wheeled vehicles. Back in India, we have something similar and it's called Tuk Tuk/ Auto Rickshaw and they are always unstable. My suggestion is to trade with something nice like a Normal scooter or motorcycle. Greetings from Karthik Shanker,India
