2019 Chevrolet Camaro RS (3.6L V6) - Review

I just bought one of these yesterday I love it, they are not even bad on Gas! Mine actually is the same as this one but has two black stripes down the middle.

The 2019 Camaro is catching some heat for the grille fascia assy but the RS was updated with a smaller grille. Great video - thanks for sharing!

19mpg city and 29mpg highway are decent enough figures for a 3,649 cc V6 auto running on 87 octane regular gas. Giving a nice 335 hp and 284 lb⋅ft all SAE tested on regular gas. We were given the spiel about the Camaro 2.0l giving better fuel figures, on paper the 2018/19/20 Chevrolet Camaro 2.0 L, 4 cyl, Automatic 8 speed Turbo MPG figures of 22 city and 31 highway do look better BUT Chevrolet KNEW this was achieved on Premium fuel at premium prices. The dealers were happy to give the Camaro customer the idea they were going to save money on fuel, But as the difference between the cost of regular and premium gas is a US Nationwide difference of being 23% extra, they wouldn't get a 23% extra mpg in a turbo than a V6 Camaro. In the majority of US states they would be worse off. Even now were someone to talk to a Chevrolet dealer the spiel would be that a 2.0l turbo would save them in fuel costs over that of a V6. Sure some vehicles do give better MPG BUT if they are getting that by running Premium fuel and that Premium fuel is costing the owner a US national average of 23% MORE than regular, the corresponding MPG needs to be 23% more, but usually it isn't. Such a shame that Americans wanting better savings in fuel are being conned in this way. In many cases they are better off going for a 87 octane optimised car just like the V6 Camaro. When it becomes available again after this GM hold due to some emissions malarkey, folks could get a deal of a lifetime on the V6 Camaro.

I was dead set on going to the dealer for the 2019 RS Camaro, but was very disappointed. Looking at the outside, I loved everything, inside was a different story. I'm skinny and am 5'11" tall. It was difficult getting in and out. Right away I felt claustrophobic, the view out of the widows is very small. The angle of the windshield gives you limited front view. The financial side is also disappointing. $650 a month payment on a $38,000 car is pretty high. This car didn't even have all the bells and whistles....the paddle shifter didn't convince me to buy it. Sorry, Chevrolet...I want my '87 IROC-Z back

it's time for a complete redesign, overall the exterior looks the same since 2010

It's too small for me my head was hitting the top and I'm not really that tall
