Honestly a v6 is plenty of power for me in a charger. I’ve driven my brothers friends Daytona 392 and it was freaking amazing. Drove in heels which made me want to go faster. I loved it but barely tapping the gas and I’m going 40mph. I’m okay with a v6…. At least until I decided I can afford the v8 if I want one.
Honestly love mine, Main reason I got it versus the v8 was because of the AWD and I live in the Midwest. Then I come to find the pursuit cop edition is the v8 AWD model
Got my son a SXT Charger. Very nice car. Rides great and solid power for a V6. Especially considering how heavy the car is. I do think the newer Charger front ends look way better than the earlier ones.
Just ordered a new black SXT Charger with the cold weather package. I also live in Arizona but go up north often in winters where it’s super cold so wanted the heated seats. I got it for $36,500 out the door with tax & fees. Think I did good?
18 gt plus here love the car 305 HP is plenty and with the great gas mileage save tons on gas make the car your own maybe throw in a CAI and peddal commander call it a day
Omg the gray blacktop sxt @5:01 was mine they brought it down to Tucson that’s crazy I had to wait an extra week for them to bring it down😅I love it tho🥺
Everyone is making fun of me cuz I’m 18 getting a 2015 Dodge Charger sxt and I think this is fast enough for me ima get this till I’m ready for a v8 just money wise it’s still a sports car
I was just driving through the dodge dealer. A sea of v6's. I'm very happy with my 2012 superbee 392. Especially since it cost less than half of the price of the RT's they had. Superbee is here to stay!
@@hanselsgrettles5755 I bought it in Michigan for 21K with 88,000 miles. However, one month after I bought it the cam and lifters failed. Ended up putting over 8 grand cash into it trying to get it to run right. I had it for 7 months and was only able to drive it the first month. The other 6 months it went between mechanic and tuners. I traded it in for a camaro SS
Thank you cause listen I’m a girl and want a charger but I’m also depressed so that means the jobs I work don’t usually make me enough to own one but I’ve seen a lot of SXTs for $20,000-$30,000 and that’s more affordable. Are there any mods you can recommend so that my car rumbles when I drive / accelerate? I would loveeee to have my car sounding good.
I recommend you find a job that makes you happy and pays better 😅 and if you want to make an sxt rumble straight piping it will do the trick it will be loud and give you that rumble your looking for 👌🏼
Yes!!! On a v6 charger review, I’ve done some mods to my 2020 v6 charger sxt black top similar to the rental car you used. I put a 2016 RT stock air box (cleaner) Cut Mid muffler added a glass pack flow master and rear muffler delete pretty much straight pipe I still have the cats on the car.. I may have gained about 8 horsepower lol it’s my daily driver plan on getting more mods done
That’s most likely what will happen it’s cheaper to just build the motor and a lot more unique. I went to Bill Luke dodge in Phoenix off of camelback and the I17
Performance upgrades would be your best bet I have a 6.1 I just bought an you can’t find really anyone that shows the process of building one up an if u read the comments everyone is asking for someone to do it an your parts would basically pay for them selves with the videos honestly might make my own channel an try it if u don’t see if I can get some traction off it
Yea I’m definitely going to build this beast I have a low mileage 6.1 honestly making it faster than a hellcat would be bad ass if I buy any car it will be a pick up truck for a daily driver for when this beast is in the shop being built
my 5.7 2007 charger is faster than scats so if you don’t think your 6.1 is faster than a 6.4 then you’re sleeping bro and don’t sell it keep it and add to the collection
You can join my club 😊...Wait until 2023 and see what announcements Dodge comes out with this year and then decide from there. For our 6.1L to be on par with 392s you need a cam, tune, headers, performance CAI and bigger throttle body. So maybe like $6K to $8K (parts and labor) 🤔. Or go boost and pay $8K to 11$K and beat em. To hang with Hellcats you talking about at least $15K+ 🤑. For me I'm not building my 6.1L. My car is dope but I want new technology and the 8 speed tranny. I'm fine with my custom tune, tires, exhaust, and performance CAI. #CallItADay 😄. So come along and join the waiting train for Dodge's announcements lmao!
It like your philosophy on waiting! I think for my channel to grow I think building my 6.1 into a monster will benefit it more. But no denying the cool factor of the hellcat 🐱
@@srtdad I been part timing on RU-vid for 6 years only have 4.1K subs...I don't post a lot in general. I'm a SRT dad too (4 kids) with a Latina wife💋. Key to building your channel is being yourself and consistency with uploads. That's all viewers really care about. They want to watch content...any content that you are willing to share. If you do that you'll grow fast. As for me...my time is very hectic with my family obligations and life in general but I do what I can on my terms. 😛 #FoodForThought
@@mr.300c I hear ya with the kids man I have 3 of my own and it’s tough getting these videos out honestly but I really enjoy it this why I put in the extra effort and do it! I appreciate the advice it’s very true you basically get what you put into it 💪🏼🔥🤟🏼
