Hey guys, I know it's been 3 years since you and Troy made this video, but it's only been 7 hours since I finished installing the same upper and lower grills on my 22 Charger GT in my garage by myself, and I couldn't have done it without this video! I pretty much followed your vid in the exact same steps and it couldn't have gone any easier! Please pass along my appreciation to Troy when you see him... and let your boy know I live in Texas and I'm also a Cowboys fan!
I actually am NOT a fan of the 2019 grill! The 2018 grill down are way nicer imo. I said if I bought a 2019 Charger, my first mod would be to go to a 2018 style grill. That's how much I am not a fan! That guy is very thorough with his work. Great video on how to remove the bumper. I had to remove mine this past weekend, to install my pushbar! This video, would've helped with the removal. Anyways... love the video -2 thumbs up!!!
THE HOLY TERROR well I appreciate your feedback either way man! He’s a very very smart dude and does everything the safest and best way he can,.Thank you so much!🤙🏼
Looks very good. I wanted to get the grill, but now everyone is getting one so I will stay original. Very good video for when I want to remove my bumper.
It's pretty easy getting these front ends off. This is THE best bang for your buck intake for all Hemi engines. Get the hellcat upper to have an even smoother airflow. 🌽🌭
total dad fit and i am rockin with it haha.. good video that will help me remove the bumper on my charger to replace my wiper fluid reservoir. Thank you !! well explained
Great video but do you have to buy the lower grill with the upper grill to match if it’s an official Mopar part? Or can you just buy the upper grill and not the lower?? Thanks!
Hey man great videos I’m looking to get the hellcat box and all that I have a 2016 Dodge Charger RT. Will this work buying the same parts? Also how come the tube doesn’t line up exactly on the tube in the other video it looks like it cut in half?
Hey man...I thought you were going to keep filming and show us how it looked after he put it back on. I like the snorkels.....deffinently gives it a different look. Seems like a daunting task tho but I guess worth it if you have his skill set😁 BTW.........Corndog!😉
2016 R/T lmao I was going to but I had another install to record,.that will be on the next video🤙🏼🤙🏼 I tried to add some photos in the end of the video to show how it looked,.appreciate the love man!
Nice video!! How easy is to pop out the drivers’ side bezel.Just pull it out? Or there are tabs that release the piece? Just had the new grille installed but the body shop forgot to install the new emblem.Any comments would help. Thanks
AlbinoRhino392 it’s a 2017, it sits just a tad bit off. I was thinking’s it’s push pins that hold the upper grille on each side to the headlight part but it doesn’t seem like it.
It’s gonna be an unpopular opinion but I actually like the stock R/T valance with the fake tips. Idk why but it’s something about it that I like. Now my question is if it’s possible to put the stock rt valance on a SRT rear bumper?
I want to replace the black plastic bar between the 2 grilles (the molding that sits above the lower grille on the outside). Do I need to remove the whole front end? Or does it just pop off?
AlbinoRhino392 thank you for the link man I just ordered it for my dad he is going to be happy af when it gets in ,do you know how long the shipping took for you?
Dude spends an hour just getting the car jacked up, come on man. I literally don't see the point in changing out these grills, they loook almost identical.
Safety first, dont need the car falling on me or the ground. The honeycomb on the new grilles are larger and the upper grille does not have the badge spot molded into it. If you ever take the badge off the front grille you will see SRT is molded into the plastic. I see people black them out but its still visible. Its all good though, to each there own.
follow up comment... for the relatively inexperienced person, removing the bumper cover a capable task? time consuming I'm sure but... possible with patience??
