I don’t understand how you stay so unbiased, even though you own a Ram. Kudos to you. I’ve fallen victim to sunk cost fallacy after I bought my 2019 Ram.
The 2020 Super Duty are going to be even better. Ford adding the 7.3l Gas engine is going to be a nice medium between the lower end gas engine and the 6.7l powerstroke. Plus, it'll be close to 6-7k cheaper than the Power stroke Diesel
I actually like the F-45O better because it's half wider as a mini school bus and it handles a lot of towing and still has aggressive tires! And There it is on the left @ 0:25!
Having grown up with a 1978 3/4 ton Chevy with a 350 and three speed manual with bulldog (creeper) gear and no AC I have a hard time with the luxury and cost of these new trucks. If you have the money go for it. A nice massage after filling the bed with manure or whatever is nice. Few trucks are used for work any more but I would think more of these bigger ones are, maybe more than half. It isn’t ten percent of the half tons.
Can you soon do a video of a 2O2O Hyundai Palisade? I saw a couple of RU-vidrs with Auto channels do a review of a Palisade and its a family SUV that we've been waiting for, and it's a little bigger and better than a Telluride! And as i look at the sides of that car, it makes it look like a Dodge Durango or a Range Rover.
All heavy-duty trucks with diesel engines in the last 20 years have dual batteries to produce enough cold cranking power to start the high compression diesel engines, and also to have enough power to add on electronic accessories. They all also usually have a higher output alternator to produce said electricity.
