This is a really helpful video. I was struggling to get a proper impression of what the inside of one of these is like. Moot point really considering I've got one on order from the factories, although they shut down a week after I put the order in and are unlikely to have built the car in six months time.
At 15:38 you mention the spare wheel, but remember this ST Fiesta has the B&O Premium Sound pack, the spare wheel drive space in the boot is taken from the sub-woofer!
@@Galaxy89cars although this is now redundant as the sub is now in the right side wall of the boot. You lose the small storage bay, but gain the spare wheel bay should you wish to get one as an optional extra. Not sure how the smaller sub in the side wall compared quality wise to the more beefy one that went in the spare wheel bay.
Pretty long winded which was EXACTLY what i wanted so thanks for an excellent in depth review of the bits that will matter on a day to day basis.Driving wise there are a million reviews so its nice to see a review like this that does,nt involve some pretend driving god that struggles to heel/toe,thanks.
Damn, I ordered one with everything but the sun roof and the alarm system. It's arriving in a month, and I'm watching every video I can find about this thing.
Me too. I ordered one without the sun roof and drivers assistance pack. Unfortunately my dealership said they're not expecting Ford to be making any until January though.
Very nice detailed look and review of the new ST,do not like the dull dark interior and hope there is some way to option better trim colours,i had a 2015 Mk7 ST2 for a year sold it for a convertible car,but i am happy to see the new option for an opening sun roof at last, the problem now with the new Mk8 ST3 is it's price, for me i would just buy the Hyundia i30N Performance warranted for track and longer 5 year warranty but again i have not seen an i30N with an opening roof yet?
Terry C The st2 comes with a different interior, the seats have blue patterns and there is blue stitching throughout the car, where has the st3 is black half leather with white stitching. Personally I do not like the blue interior
I’m really struggling with purchasing either this or the previous gen ST200. For me, it’s a question of what you value more, the interior or the exterior.
I think this is probably a much better car, but it definitely has a much more understated aesthetic. Probably quite a bit more expensive too, at the moment.
@@Galaxy89cars genuinely don’t understand how anyone can think that. This car doesn’t even stand out. Like you look at it on the road and it just seems like your normal bog standard car. The completely ruined the rear end. Looks like a mondeo from about 05
