Just bought a lightly used one. Love it for the style/interior comfort/ride/good handling/cargo room. To me, it's an updated Country Squure, but way cooler - and that's exactly what I wanted.

We had one of these as a rental in 2019 so it was probably a 2018 model, but we really liked it. It was perfect for our beach trip!

@@DonOmarRamiro yes it is still in our family it’s a great vehicle a bit thirsty on gas but is a good trade off for the features ! Good power even with a full load but you will take a hit in efficiency. Would recommend the turbo . No major issues at all had to replace a tail light early on but that’s about it .

@@aayonce4 I'm really considering one.! I like the looks and don't mind the gas, having all that interior space should have a trade off. Ill be looking for a test drive and will consider the turbo.! Thank you.!

@@DonOmarRamiro one thing I will say the third row is accommodating but not exactly comfortable the seats sit kinda straight up but it is still more spacious than most comparable crossovers of that time .

23mpg. If it did 30, I'd seriously consider getting one. Nice family vehicle and it can also double as a pickup when you lay down the back seats

@Braylon Chandley Audi's are beautiful vehicles! Just a shame they cost so much to maintain certain things? Timing belts every 75k-100 at $1,500 sucks and especially when Timing chains last longer.....though not as quiet as a belt!

I remember when this vehicle was first introduced. To me it looked like a reinvention of a station wagon, but in a cool but with less chrome awesomeness. Im seriously considering buying a badly rusted one in 20 or 30 years, cuz Im inbred and cant afford a nice new one in the near future.

Sir- Loved this video! I've been pushing my Son and his Wife towards this model. I have some questions on options, mainly, which package should they look for to include Rear Infotainment, Center console fridge and powered rear 3rd row? Also, what is the mileage difference between the Base and Ecoboost? Thanks in advance. 👍 On the video!

Thanks for the kind words! The Flex is sadly out of production but when searching the pre-owned market to get the powered 3rd row mentioned in your comment you will need to seek out the top trim level depending on year. (Limited, Titanium) The fridge and rear monitors were stand alone optional features in the earlier year Ford Flex's. Finding a Flex with an OEM fridge and rear monitors will be a challenge but you can add these features if you DIY or have them installed in the aftermarket.

I just got a 2019 but now having issues with our car seat installation. Graco Extend 2 Fit in the third town, harness will not tighten. It seams that the folded headrest puts to much tension on the straps when the car seat is tightly installed with LATCH. Any ideas on how to remedy this?

I have this same car seat. I've got two tips for you. The first is with my car seats, any time I go to tighten the straps I always put my body weight in the seat. This makes the car seat collapse into the seat cushion more than the child's weight would and allows you to get the straps the tightest they can be. The other tip for the headrest is to just completely remove it if you don't want to keep it up. It is not necessary for this car seat which provides a built-in headrest.

The Flex has been discontinued by Ford so they are no longer making them new. However, you can still find these on the used market. They originally came out in 2009 and had a lifespan through 2019. There are sure to be some quality pre-owned Ford Flex's that would fall in an affordable price range since they have been around for so long. We occasionally get them in on our pre-owned lots but currently do not have any in stock. But happy hunting to you for your dream car!

Hello, I need help in Germany. I bought yesterday y Ford Flex SEL 3,5 2019, because I am a big fan of this car since a trip to America. Unfortunately the Flex is not really known in Germany and so no one can really help me. There is unfortunately no manual and the Flex presents me with the one or other challenge. Can anyone help me? @@RichmondFordWestGlenAllen Thank you for the tip. Here begins the problem. In the German registration is only Flex AWD no other indication, so I ultimately do not know which Flex I actually own. Some I could take from the manual, various other messages I can not assign and do not know how to fix them. Also the German Ford dealer can not help me. I am honestly at a loss and even as a woman 😏. Here in NRW this vehicle is rather rare, another car dealer in the area who also sells a Flex treated me harshly when I asked him for help.

@@hostelnordstern1082 I'm sorry we can't be of much help. I would suggest finding a VIN decoder website. Enter your Flex's VIN number that can be found on the windscreen or the door jamb on the website and it should tell you more information about your Flex.

Such a great Ford station wagon, it has been cancelled like the GM Aztek. It never sold well - just 30k per year for 10 years - a loser. You should be able to pick up a used one for a lot less. Funny, how Ford hid most of it's logos on the front and rear just saying Flex, since they didn't want to take credit for this Mule. At least the new electric Mustang, a real SUV - has presold 100k+ in the first year vs this pathetic failure.
