The Ford Ranger Raptor is the regular Ford Ranger "family" pickup truck (also branded as the Mazda BT-50) that has been beefed up for off road and also on road performance.
The Raptor version of the Ranger is considered the top of the line trim level for the Ranger featuring:
2.0L Bi-Turbo I4 Diesel engine
10 Speed automatic transmission
Fox Racing suspension
Standard equipped four wheel drive
Really beefy BF Goodrich K02 285/70/17 tires (which were specifically designed for the Raptor series including the Ranger's bigger brother, the F150 Raptor)
It also came with cosmetic upgrades such as

Raptor logos at the back
Raptor design in the interior
