Jesus man. I thought you are going to talk about the performance aspect of the vehicle. What you did is take as to a bulldozed dirt track and talk about trims and connectivity. Really. This is an offroad vehicle. I would expect at least some run on gnarly roads.

I can’t help but think that for the money, you could get a half ton pickup with lower total costs and higher MPGs. Or for way less, a used Tacoma or Wrangler that would be way more reliable off-road. These new vehicles are so tech heavy, costs are getting out of control.

If you want to demonstrate a test on raptor, don’t test it on sands, bring it on in a rocky terrain to see the real performance of that truck pick-up not just on a bunch of muddy-sandy environment. Also it’s obvious that the test driver was not a legit since he has lacked of knowledge in terms of the full spectrum on the raptor. The guy did not even mentioned and illustrate the function of the tiptronic shifter which was attached on the steering wheel..

I test drove the Biturbo Ford Ranger Wildtrak. Even if it develops more engine kilowatt and torgue it is still not as punchy as my For Ranger 2014 3.2 liter. I did accelerations in different speeds in the biturbo Wildtrak. I does not accelerate as well as the 3.2 liter. If I had a choice I would buy the Ford Ranger Raptor and if possible rather fit that biturbo to the 3.2 liter five cylinder into the Ranger Raptor. I think that would put any competition to shame even the so talked about Volkswagen Amarock. I think Ford should go back to devolping the 3.2 Liter five cylinder in the Raptor.

Go to mountain province if you want to test this kind of off road car, lots of cliff uncemented one way roads and beautiful mountain full of pine trees. Have fun with dancing roads haha... Edit: Good luck with that

Medyo not midyo, bro. 20 months na R. Raptor ko super swa e pa rin ang hataw. Araw -araw ko hinahataw masarap kasi idrive magaan ay comfortable di tilad ng dati ko Hilux grabe kaldag at matigas ang steering mabagal pa ang response. Kinakargahan ko din ang Raptor ng mga materials sa construction projects ko. 18 balde (6gals.) ng pintura ina-akyat ko sa 8th floor balewala kahit di ko iswitch sa 4x4.

John Citizen the payload and towing is down to the suspension, the wildtrak with the 2.0 has the exact same towing and payload as the 3.2

@@etbrown94 look it up if you don't believe me Ethan. The Raptor's 2500kg brakedtowing capacity is a full 1000kg less than Wildtrak, and with its 5350kg GCM (650kg lower than Wildtrak), that leaves a payload limit of 518kg, or just over half a tonne.

I would buy an expensive truck or car in the Philippines but something in me yells "Dont do it, kasi kaskasero mga motorista sa pinas or worst macarjack pa". Until then, i will stick to my old civic. Ive chosen a 2019 Ram 1500 Limited instead of a ford raptor f150 here in Canada.

During the late 60s 70s our cars were Fords. Cortinas, Escorts and Fiera the first AUV but during martial law and even during after People Power 1, Ford Motors left us with nothing to run to when we need parts even replacement fan belts. Good thing surplus parts from Japan become the norm and most american cars engine later were replaced with Toyota 4K, Mitsubishis and Isuzu diesel engine. Then again Ford Fiera II AUV a bigger one came only to dissappear again. We got pissed off sell our old Fords and switch to 250cc Yamaha Motorcycles all 3 of them

The amber grill lights are because the truck is too wide to be a passenger vehicle so its registered as a commercial vehicle. The amber lights are a government mandate, not ford's choice. I am not sure if they could legally put them on a vehicle that doesn't need them.

Exactly my thoughts. Some R.Raptor owners don't recommend to buy (as of now) that truck 'cause of "some" issues especially on that new engine they shoved up in raptor, Owners feel that they're being a "beta tester". Maybe when Ford gathers all the issues, they will fix it and release Range Raptor 2.0. Lol

Can somebody answer the question why Ford Raptor only has 700kg load capacity while Ford Wildtrak has 1,000kg load capacity?

It has Fox Sports coil spring while Wildtrak uses traditional leaf springs for rear suspension. Coil springs are used mainly for off roading and they have more riding comfort. You can not jump on off road a pick up with leaf springs surely they will break.
