2019 Full-Size Pickup Truck Comparison 

Just sold mine, it was a Regular Cab, had 200k miles on it, no problems but it wasn't drove alote from April 2018 - December 2018. It got rust during that time, so I sold it. (Wasnt drove alote because I got a 2008 GMC Sierra Extended Cab)

@@843MudMafia. beauty is in the eye of the beholder. While the new front end was not as good as the last gen, there were updates that make me overlook the front end. The rear air vents and more spacious cab plus other features really make this new chevy great

alliejr the suspension from the dodge it hella smooth I have driven all three but own a 2019 F-150 2.7 eco boost XLT sport the dodge drives a lot better

I’d rather have interior and suspension from ram and exterior and powertrain from the sierra. I would absolutely not want anything from a ford.

F150 still looks better by design just needs interior work

zach arrington I agree I would also choose the ram because I generally hate Chevrolet’s and I think fords are ok. Though I am not a truck guy, I would choose the RAM because I am a Chrysler guy and Chrysler owns Dodge and Dodge makes RAM.

ZachSpeaks Probably the exhaust. They are located right beneath the bumper. The ram is ok but it is not very safe and given FCA’s past with safety I would go with the ford. (In 2019) FCA had NO IIHS TSP or TSP+ Plus awards in ANY of their brands.

Shame after all these years they still can't get there act together.The styling looks nice and the interior is decent but long term the Ram is a question mark.Last gen were rusters and electical is always a problem.

Eww.. I hate EVs with a passion. It's inevitable that all vehicles will be electric at some point, with only older gas cars grandfather-claused in, but I hope I'm long gone before all new cars are electric. Soulless and boring. ;-) Having said that, I agree with you on the F-150 favorite pick.

@@friendlytravelagent7784 I haven't. I only have seen videos and (not) heard how they sound. But I'm someone who loves to hear (to varying degrees) combustion engines in trucks and sports cars. I think sound is a huge part of the enjoyment of driving. Everything except luxury vehicles - those should be difficult to tell if the engine is even running. All this is just my opinion. I have a 2018 F-150 with a little baby Flowmaster muffler for just a little bit more than stock sound. It's a city-slicker Limited, so it seemed "wrong" to make it really loud.

@@BPoweredLove I love a good muffler sound. I've had the opportunity to drive a wide variety of electric and non-electric vehicles before. Model 3 performances, Alpha Romeo Giulias, "Mustang" Mach-Es, Camrys and even a variety of Minivans. You name it. If you are ever up for it, I recommend test driving an electric car. It's an experience for sure, unlike any gas car.

Alg 2003 it has a neutral pinhole button you can use with a pen. The shifter is a little weird but definitely the fastest to shift from park to drive with 1 flick

Joshua Graham soon all v8 will die out unless they are in turbo charged supercars. Its kind of sad because you cant get that great v8 sound in a twin turbo v6. I honestly don’t like the ecoboost engines. They are only good for barely squeezing out the power of a v8.

That's because that's what the companies send out basically they want consumers to buy the higher end trucks so they can sell the lesser model through fleet sales because then the can sell those for the full price and not have to worry about each customer trying to negotiate a few thousand off the price.... This is just my opinion I could be flat wrong though.

Same thing I said .. I haven't seen Ford do the same thing either but everyone got their own made up belief in their minds. I'm sticking with GM and they Silverado .. Note: GMC is best in it's class than all of these trucks and sells well too but that's not even mentioned.

Yeah none of them do send those out, but point was, if everyone's together for a comparison with the big engines, the RAM's got the lowest numbers...even though claiming the most V8 towing. Just kinda funny is all.

I also enjoyed the last comparison, I took as more for your average Joe. A more bang for your buck comparison if you will, but again for car nerds like us WE NEED THE INSTRUMENTED TESTS because we are in love with comparing powertrains, and how they stack up against direct competitors.

it has not been a dodge since 2012. ram was spun off of dodge and is now it's own brand.

It is so funny to hear, all of these trucks have the positives and negatives, there are the 3 best selling vehicles in the US, plus in the last 3 months of 2018 ram sales are up 22%, f series trucks up 3% and the new GM trucks are flat. they all make great trucks as the market demands it. I enjoy all three trucks. Ram is it's own brand within the fiat Chrysler company just like Maserati, Farrari until it was spun off to it's own company, Alfa Romeo. plus look back Daimler owned Chrysler before Fiat bought it and last time I checked people love their Mercedes. lol to funny how much hatred for a product I feel sorry for you but learn the products before you think you are slandering them.

You can find beautiful STX 4x4 F150 trims on sale for close to $30k if you look hard. It's by far the best looking truck on the road because it's color matched on front grill and no chrome!
