Curious what you didn’t like about the super 10? I’ve had it on previous vehicles a loved it. I just installed the flowmaster American thunder series cat back (super 40) on my AT4. It’s too quiet but there isn’t many single in dual out race mufflers. I was going to throw a super 10 on it. The only other options are pretty much that, cherry bomb extreme and thrush.
Eric Ferguson I liked the super 10. But it gave me a lot of drone in the cab. Even with my music loud (which is typically how I listen to music) you could still hear the drone. Once the truck kicks into 4cyl the drone starts. Oh nice! Did you cover the mesh screens (resonators)
Eric Ferguson Asking cause that’s what I originally went with. And I had the same problem... I couldn’t even tell I had it lol. That’s when I had them switch to the super 10 and I could barely hear that. Once I covered the mesh screens (resonators) in the pipe it made a huge difference. If you want the true sound of the muffler you have to cover the mesh screens. I’m sure I would have liked the super 40 a lot better if I knew that before hand
Gabriel Valdovinos Yep, the full kit replaces the mesh screens with pipe. The super 40 sounds good but after 3000rpm it’s got nothing. I wish the atak came in a single in dual out. I don’t want a custom Y-pipe made.
Virgil Livingston hey what’s up had a question for you about my 18 RedLine Silverado 5.3 was wondering if the inlet outlet on stock exhaust is 2 1/2 inches I know the inlet is off set and the outlet is centered. But wasn’t sure about the diameter being 2 1/4 or 2 1/2 thanks that’s the choice I am given to pick from before I order it up
1GDFELLA Christ,Family,RCs4Life I can’t remember with stock, but I think it was the same as the bolt on ATAK that I put on, which was 2.75 in and 2.25 out.

I had the Atak on my 18 silverado, absolutely loved it. Got a 19 and found out you cant put the Atak on the new body style. Went to the dealer and they said they wouldn't be able to fit it, any suggestions?
Tony you probably can... the only reason why I’d get the cat back system is cause it’s fine tuned for that specific vehicle. So you don’t get any drone. I’ve heard some awesome sounding Borla mufflers that they swapped out. But people complained about the droning.
